Broke After Only Two Uses
I expected premium quality from Helinox, especially for the price they charge and the reputation they have in the outdoor gear world. Instead, what I got was a complete let-down. After the second use — on a completely flat, stable surface — the Chair Zero snapped at the joint connection. No rough terrain, no overloading, nothing that could justify such a failure. Just normal use, exactly as intended. For a chair this expensive, you expect years of reliable service, not a catastrophic failure after two outings. At this point, it’s hard not to feel like you’re paying for the brand name rather than actual durability. If this is “premium quality,” I’d hate to see what their budget gear looks like. I honestly can’t recommend this product to anyone looking for reliability in the outdoors.

Broken just in 1 month, Not a single answer from Helinox
I am just a 78 kg person and never abused the chair but still, it is broken in the joints now. I had multiple camping chairs before, even the cheap ones, and I never had a problem like this. They are very proud of their warranties and all, so I had an inquiry at their website, twice now, and they never even bothered to respond. I paid a lot (I mean a lot) of money for a terrible product, and my suggestion is to be careful about the current reviews(they are really good, unfortunately) and make your decision very carefully.

It's a lightweight, comfortable chair. Don't expect it to be your TV room couch :) I bought one and liked it so much we bought a second one for my wife. PRO: - Lightweight, easy to carry - Sturdy - Small - about a 1 liter Nalgene bottle - Puts you at a good level for tending a fire, cooking on a camp stove on the ground, and similar activities. CAVEATS: - Legs may sink in a little on soft ground. If it does, get up and shift it a little to a new spot. - Works best on level surfaces. If you're on a slope, you will either tend to slide out the front of the seat, or tip over backwards. A manageable situation. - Getting in and out. Because this is so low, you may want to modify your technique for getting in and out. To sit down, I straddle a corner of it, heels close to the seat, and sit. To stand up, forget leaning forward and getting up like usual. I find it much easier to turn toward a corner, scooch closer to the corner, bring your heels all the way back almost under the chair - this puts them under your behind. Standing up is a whole lot easier that way with your legs lined up on your center of gravity. CONS - It IS mesh, so if there's a cool breeze blowing, this won't block much of it. Dress appropriately or use a Z Seat.
