Decided to buy the new budget Google Nest based on customer reviews and so far is exceeding expectations - interface is simple to use and the product is really good! Would be great if Google adds more features in the near future. Really recommended!

I was searching for 220v and this one was the first in search results, so double check wether you need 220 or 110

Bought it with Amazon installation service. New Era Maintenance came and inspect and confirmed it is not a direct plug and play. Had to buy an adaptor from them that cost AED 1000 each. 5 hours into installtion, they discouvered outside unit has DC inverter not AC. anyway, it was a failed attempt and had to return it. Edit: after 10 days. New Era Maintainace hasn't refunded and doesn't reply.

The circular frame makes buying a back plate meccesary. The products works fine and it's useful.

No one could install and the one that were able to do it offered to fix it for triple its price so I had to return it ...the UAE is not ready for this

Nest 4th generation only has one fan speed , unlike 3rd generation or Honeywell that have low Med high speeds .

Excelente funcionamiento

Like any thermostat, this one is easy to wire in. What I liked was the built-in level bubble to ensure it is straight. Unfortunately, the mystery as to why my c-wire isn't working may have to be left up to an electrician. The standard colour codes weren't used so I suspect the previous owner did the electrical, and he cut it from the Rh and W bundle at the furnace. I spliced it back onto the terminal but the thermostat indicated no power. I am guessing it is the transformer, and since my ex must have taken my multimeter, I cannot check. Still....for now the thermostat functions at 80%-some features requiring wifi do not. But the schedule works fine (and that alone is a good, intuitive program) and if this semi-retired body is thinking about getting out of bed before the scheduled heat increase, I can do so on my phone app. It joined my Google Home flawlessly. I waited for a good price on Amazon and it was here in days.

The Google Nest Thermostat arrived well packaged and was straightforward to install. Setup through the app was simple, and the thermostat connected without issues. Being able to monitor and adjust settings remotely has been convenient. The display is clear, and basic scheduling functions work as expected. From an installation and usability standpoint, it has performed reliably so far.

I initially bought this to prevent any central AC condensation floods. I'm using this in a rental house and the owner was quite worried about flooding since the last tenants didn't put the AC drain in properly and flooded the basement. Im not using a C wire and it's worked perfectly. It's great to be able to stop the AC/furnace and set temp remotely. It's easy to install so I can take it with me to the next place when time comes.
