ACTIVISION Skylanders Giants Portal Owner Pack - Nintendo 3DS

My kids love skylanders for their wii so we just recently purchased it for their 3DS as well for a long trip. I was able to get this giants portals owner pack for less than half the price anywhere else sells it. Score amazon!

fun game, i got my brother it for his birthday, he loved it. he beat it pretty fast, but he really loves all the little characters.

I bought this game for my son, he is7 years old, he really enjoys it, he has been asking for more figures since then, it was so easy to set up, the portal communicates very well with the Nintendo 3ds, and the images are so nice. It arrives in perfect conditiion, I'm looking forward to buy Bouncer, Pop Fizz and th Nintendo Wii Giants game also.

Skylanders Giants for the 3DS is a fun game and worth getting even if you already have the console version of the game as this version is different with a new story. The game play is more platform based compared to the console versions. The portal owners pack comes with the game and Tree Rex figure that is a Giant. To see everything in the game and unlock all element gates you need 1 Skylander of each element with an orange or green base. Since Tree Rex is a life element figure although you can beat the game with just Tree Rex and ignore the element gates. The only negative is that you can only store 2 Skylanders in the game at once so if you travel, you need to take the figures with you compared to the newer games where once you scan in the figure, it is saved in the game no matter how many figures you scan in.

Bought this as a gift for my 6 yr old before I realized it was in the starter pack. Oh well, good deal for the price! Original package was scuffed up a bit, but the product wasn't damaged.
