DMC 6-Strand Embroidery Cotton Floss, Dark Steel Grey

Good quality embroidery thread and reasonably priced used it to finish a picture that did not come with enough thread. Matched perfectly . I usually buy a pinwheel of colors and hang into them for just this reason or if I want to change a color.

I’ve used this brand of embroidery thread for years and it is always easy to sew with and the color selection is great.

Floss was in great shape. No stains or other issues.

My 87 year old mom decided to repair my grandmother’s blanket of fabric diamond scraps. She made these for many family members. Few survive. This one will be great again (but, sadly, not used as our dogs and cat might harm it. My mother is thrilled and she is fussy about her materials.

I use a lot of this color, so I was excited to find this! Perfect!

This item claims to be for 12 skeins. I purchased it twice , which means I should have received 24 skeins…. Instead I received 2 . Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to get to the post office at the moment… so it’s entirely plausible I will have to eat the loss. Just absurd .

This color was perfect for my project but I would remove the word light from the description. It is definitely not light grey. It’s a somewhat dark grey like a charcoal. Photo is accurate but description is not. The quality is excellent of the thread and the purchase overall.

Did I misinterpret that the item should have been a box of 12? Very disappointed and can’t use for the project.

I only use DMC thread and the price on this item was the best I could find.
