Slows my cat down. Best invention ever!!
UPDATE: This has been used daily for the last 8 months and I still love it. It's worked exceptionally well in slowing down my fast eating cat. It's been easy to clean by hand just using hot soapy water. The little suction cups on the bottom still stick and look brand new. I've never put it in the dishwasher so I don't know how it would hold up to that. Excellent quality item that's very pet safe. My continued rate for this is10 stars!!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I looked at endless feed mats. All soft materials that cats can easily damage and ingest are extremely dangerous. Reviews sharing the thousands of dollars spent on blockages in their pets intestines or worse, loss of life. Thank you to the the kind souled woman who took a video of all her kitties eating from their own separate mats... this mat. That's what sold me. It's the perfect size, easy to clean, slows him down without whisker fatigue and he finally feels full after his appropriate portion of soft food. I add additional water once I smear the food onto the mat. He's not only become more calm but no longer has a distended belly from gulping down soft food. Although it doesn't suction cup perfectly to my pergo floor, it doesn't slide at all. When meal prepping, it instantly sticks securely to my quartz counter tops so I set it on a paper towel. It arrived flat and in perfect new condition. Excellent quality! Considering buying a second one just to have on hand. If I could give 10 stars I would!

So far no laundry to be done
I'll admit, this review might be a tad premature but I am doing the happy dance already! I recently adopted a senior cat, who came from a hoarding situation. I believe he overgrooms and overeats due to the repeated stress he has suffered all of these years. He inhales both his dry and canned food, and even though I split his portion into 4 small servings, the last 2 days he has (all of a sudden) began to vomit after his breakfast meal. Yesterday, he vomited on every surface in my home, including his 2 brand new orthopedic beds, and I began my hurried search for an immediately available stainless steel lick mat, as the vet advised only glass and stainless will prevent chin rash. It has been almost an hour and guess what?? I don't have 4 loads of laundry to do again today. The suction cups are very strong, even though I am not utilizing them, the feeder didn't move. It looks like quality stainless as well. Will update if any drama. I have included a pic of my little dictator, resting after eating, on his laundered and well covered new bed.EDIT: It is almost 2 months later and I cannot rave enough about this slow feeder - you need this!! Elmo has not thrown up once after using this feeder. I use it for both his canned and his kibble. He is skittish when he eats and the slow licking seems to soothe him. After he eats his canned, he tackles his kibble using a precise grid system, so as not to miss any, it is very cute. He also leaves behind some of the kibble to come back to (which he never did), as by eating slower he gets fuller. A bonus is I put his weekly hairball gel in the feeder and he licks it right up, no more struggling to give it to him. The suction cups are *very* strong - TIP - I put a dish towel under the feeder when I fill it on my counter, as it will stick really strong and I was spilling the kibble everywhere. This is a breeze to clean every day, I plug the sink and throw it under warm water and dish soap for a few minutes, wipe with a soft sponge, then let it air dry. Even the canned food comes right off, no water spots and I have seen no areas that have rusted. If you have a cat (or small pup/dog) that eats too fast, I would highly recommend this. I have attached a pic of how I fill it.

Perfect for dogs who like to chew silicone
I bought this for my dog after he chewed up his silicone lick mats. This is the perfect alternative. I use the Kong easy treat spray in it you could also use peanut butter or anything else. Super durable great quality great lick mat. It also has really strong suction cups on the bottom. Only thing I’ve noticed is I have laminate floors and it has a hard time sticking. But on my countertops, it sticks 100%.

My dogs love it!
This works like it is supposed to. I use it when giving my dog a bath. Just smear peanut butter on then adhere to wall or side of tub. My dog will lick it the entire time he is getting a bath. Makes bathtime so much easier! The suction does come loose after awhile, and it will start to slide. It is not a problem to restick it to the wall. It cleans up easily and does appear to be strong. My dog destroys just about everything, but this has survived.

Keeps my dogs busy and prevents them from throwing up their meals/snacks
These mats helped my dogs eat their meals slower, and keeps them busy for a minimum of 20 minutes while they lick them clean! If you’re using these for meals, these mats are great if their servings are 1/2-1cup, which works for my 8lb & 10lb dogs. These mats are easy to clean, chew-proof, and suctions to the ground so that they’re not moving the mats around. Definitely recommend since you can just put them down, and not have to worry about supervising if your dog likes to chew up their mats (my Iggy is an aggressive chewer).I also recommend getting the 2pk since you’re going to like them enough to get another, and the price is more cost effective.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

PET ESSENTIAL!!
I don’t know how I’ve gone this long without knowing this product existed and it’s saved me so much stress. I got a new kitten in the household recently and she’s been inhaling her food without chewing it. Another issue was she was finishing her food super fast and then trying to steal her sister’s food. I tried silicone lick mats but she began destroying those too and I didn’t want to risk a trip to the vet if she began swallowing it. I feed a wet diet and those slow feeder bowls weren’t helping. Discovering they make stainless steel lick mats was a life saver for me!! She’s finally slowing down and no more food stealing!! I wish I bought the 2 pack because this is definitely a cat essential to me now. Only downside is the suction doesn’t work well on my wooden floors but that isn’t really a problem for me. I highly recommend buying this if you need something to slow your pet down and don’t want them destroying it either.
