A word of caution: not only is this product for replacement only, but it has to be installed in the exact location as the existing mailbox. Our condo mailboxes are in our outdoor entrance, and pretty much destroyed by vandalism, so we bought these, which are the same as our existing ones, and installed it inside our lobby area. When USPS came out to install their locks, they wouldn't do it because we changed the location, so we had to send them back. Big hassle!!

Just as described, great price and works well. Gives a nice clean look to my building and all the keys/locks work great. I just called the local post office and arranged to have their installer come out and put in the USPS lock after I had mounted it and we were off and running.

Ease of installation

Installation of the mater lock has to be done by the postal service. Which means you can’t use until the postal service installed its component.

Great product usually order these mailboxes from Mailbox.com, ordering through amazon was much cheaper!

Salsbury did a great job with this item, it arrive fast and was exactly what we needed! Hopefully we won't need to purchase again BUT if we do, I know where to go!

Arrived damaged but used anyway; there was no reaction to complaint of damage. The keys are very malleable; one arrive damaged and another became bent due to the frame of the being bent making two boxes difficult to open, hence the bent key result. Delivery packaging needs to be more protective and keys need to be stronger.
