Chameleon treats
Bought these wax worms for my veiled chameleon. He already enjoys an assortment of live insects. Wax worms are supposed to be a great addition to his diet. Purchasing live ones was not an option for me at this time. So i gave these a try. Or I should say my chameleon did! They did have a bit of smell to them when I first opened. Not enough to bother me.I like the fact that the worms are plump and look and feel just like I surmise a live one must be like. To get my cham to eat them I placed 5 in his feed cup along with a couple lively superworms. He ate them right along with the supers. Now he recognizes them as food and readily eats them. Not saying all chameleons will go for them but it is worth a try. Glad I purchased these. One added thing to do is pour them into a plastic baggie and freeze them. They will keep for a long time. When you get a few out of freezer they thaw out quickly and are ready to feed.

I feed them to my turtle
When you can't get live wax worms, theseare a good alternative but nothing beats live!Good size tin for the price.

Not all worms are used for bird food
I used these worms for Kokanee fishing when maggots were not available. Canned worms keep a lot better than live maggots.

Read can carefully
Ok I thought they were alive , so then when you open the can the smell is really bad & the worms have a grey color! So I ordered for my birds they wouldn't even touch them gross , the can says great for wild birds do I feed wild birds everyday in my back yard ,, not one was touched the birds wouldn't even eat the bird seed that was next to them. What a waist of money! Company was fast with delivery, but this is one of the most disgusting things I've seen to feed any animal !

So stinky!
Stinky! My birds don't really like it, though I imagine some might. It's also waaay too smelly for me to use for my indoor pet birds on a regular basis, so it's probably for the best that they didn't immediately fall in love with it. We'll just stick with live wax worms, thank you very much!

Birds loved them.
Birds loved them...the bearded dragons...not so much. I also have a hinge back turtle that enjoyed them, too. I recommend keeping them in the fridge. They will stink, otherwise.

It stinks
I normally feed my pet squirrel and wild birds live wax worms and they love them. I tried this just for variety. No disrespect to the company, but the product smells so bad its unreal. My animals refused it. Threw it away.
