A good, simple design
For the price (on sale), this paid for itself with one large pot of spaghetti! With a little learning curve, I understood that if the zucchini was only as long as fit above the blade, allowing the top motor portion to be below the lip of the clear plastic in the intended grooves (guides), I made perfect noodles, with minimum mush. And it did not work when the zuke fell on its side. At the end, you end up with uniform slices so the plastic knobs don’t make contact with the blades. Those I chopped & threw in the pot. Now, I think of it as not so hard to do or clean so that I would not do it again & often. The ability to clean the parts in the dishwasher also makes it user-friendly. I am glad I took a chance, despite some the reviews I read.

Bad design and poor performance
Don't waste your money, this spiralizer does not work. The clear plastic is stationary and you add you veggies and then put the top with the blade on and push down, unfortunately when you do that the veggie goes sideways and you don't get the slices or spirals you needs. It might work if the veggies were perfectly straight. The handheld spiratlizers work much better and cost less. If you have a Kitchen Aid mixer spend the money to get their spiralizer it works great and is totally worth the money. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

Worked Fine So Far
After all the negative reviews I cancelled my original order. Then Amazon reduced the price to 14.99 so I figured what the heck and reordered it. Like it so far, used it on beets, zucchini, potatoes and yellow squash. A couple of improvements would help, a disk for spiralizing curly fries a bit thicker, now more like spagetti thin and a bit taller to put in a longer piece of vegetable in it because you lose about a half inch at the bottom that is flat so it can be cut by hand after taking it out of the device.Would recommend it if it was still $ 14.99!Left town the next day after it arrived so I will post more when I come back home.

pretty slices. Not worth the price
The product performance did not match the video. Tried different vegetables with the different bladesand the outcome was the same - squashed vegetables vs. pretty slices. Not worth the price.

Quick and Easy Healthy Eating
I just got this yesterday and ran out to get yellow squash and zucchini today. It took a bit of patience to figure out how to use it - I think I used too much force at first and the pieces were too long. Once I cut the pieces so that they can stand in the holder and the presser fits into the grooves and I applied light pressure - it worked like a charm.I bought a manual spiralizer a long time ago and used it once. I can see myself using this all the time!!Today I made zucchini squash spaghetti and it was delicious! Heated up a little marinara sauce - put a little Parmesan on top - and it actually tastes like spaghetti - only much healthier!A definite must have for quick and easy healthy eating!

Easy to put together, hard to use.
This looks easier than it is. While spiralizing veggies you have to be careful how much pressure you use and how big of a piece you put in machine. Once you get the hang of it, it's ok.

Poor design. Will be returning
Doesn't work! Very disappointing. I bought this as a shower gift. 3 people (all ages) tried to use it with little to no success. Very difficult to use. Unbalanced. You really need to push hard on the top which causes the base to fall over. Poor design. Will be returning.

This works well to produce healthy spirals!
This is such fun. Just pay attention to the choice of disks. Two of them look identical until you look closely and see that one is the spiralizer, while the other is a ribbonizer. It's easy to spiralize zucchini and various squash varieties, and it's fun and nutritious to cook the spirals al dente with a touch of sauce. When I make ribbons, I coat with a bit of olive oil and cook in an air fryer.I've given this spiralizer to several friends and relatives.
