Dry Nose and Paw Soother, Solva-Ker Gel Moisturizer for Pet's Cracked Nose and Paws, Greaseless Healing Balm for Dogs, Cats, and Horses

I bought this two weeks ago and I’m already amazed. My pup was getting hyperkeratosis on his paw pads. He’s a husky and really sensitive about his paws so I was looking for something that would work quickly. I’ve put this gel on the paw pads 6 times now (3xweek for 2 weeks as directed) and it has worked wonders. The excess keratin has come off in layers very nicely and I’m expecting it all to be gone in another 2 weeks. My pup has not licked off any of the product so that has contributed to the effectiveness of the product. I applied it at bedtime and he sleeps through the night in bed with me. People who had their dogs not respond to this mentioned the dogs licked it off so I wanted to make sure to mention that if they don’t, it really works. Maybe wrap the paws if your dog is a licker. I’m really happy at how this has worked for my pup.

I rarely do reviews but for this I have to!!! I was definitely skeptical about this but it works!! I have tried all types of creams and balms for my dogs nose. This product works. After 1 application the hyperkeratosis on his nose was much less and after the 2nd application almost gone. Highly recommend

It really works... just a bit across Stella's dry nose needing nothing more... and they softened and were gone in a couple weeks. I do keep this up daily as part of her routine. Not sure that crusty nose bothered her, but seems like it would have.

My vet asked me to order this product for my little Maltese who at 13 is experiencing a dry and flaky nose - keratonitis. This product works great to slough off the old skin but if used too often is too aggressive. It can actually cause irritation. So, I use this product just once or twice a week. In between I use an organic Coconut Oil. I melt the coconut oil on my palm and put just a little topically on my dog’s nose with my finger, gently . Then she gets to lick the remainder off my palm. We repeat this routine just before bedtime. Her nose is looking really good and does not cause her discomfort which is even more important. My vet says the organic coconut oil is good for her coat. Bliss loves it.

We got it at the advisement of our Veterinarian. It was meant to calm down the dry overgrowth on my bulldog’s nose. But instead, it actually made it worse. We switched to a nose paste instead. That worked better.

Impressive!! I’ve been using this for my great Danes hyperkeratosis on all 4 paws for about 3 weeks, I try to do it once a day but sometimes I forget. Her paws have improved dramatically, hyperkeratosis is almost completely gone. It was awful to begin with. Definitely going to keep up using this gel.

FINALLY! After a whole year of thinking i seriously might be losing my mind bc multiple professionals, like vets and groomers, close friends, family… literally EVERYONE either telling me I just need to accept that “she’s getting older”, or “you’re obsessed with your dog“ … or “you’re imagining things “. , “I don’t see anything “, “ etc I was even biking people to help me and they just weren’t getting the fact that it was restricting movement and had become too much for me to manage. Then one day I uploaded pictures with specific details of my observations since last June.. ChatGPT knew in 30 seconds it was — not hard,; but soft hyperkeratosis, which apparently isn’t taught to vets or groomers. AI saved my dog from so much misery and given her a quality of life back!HYPERKERATOSIS IS NO JOKE. I just came across this gel and after only three days the keratin has broken up more than it did in the last 12 months! And it seems to make her feel good and it definitely dissolved huge chunks of keratin in such a gentle way. I still use NEEM oil, aloe, coconut, vitamin E gel/drops castor oil. But this is a game changer! It doesn’t just break it up but dissolves it ! Thank you!

Quite costly for what you get but it is working to reduce the really rough spots on our dog's paws.
