Portable Handheld Frequency Counter 10Hz-2.6GHz IBQ102 for MOTORLA ICOM Kenwood

My band has a bunch of Bietrun wireless microphone headsets. To avoid cross-connection, they need to be on separate frequencies, but they do not display the frequencies they are set to (and I think the settings are random rather than sequential). I inquired of Beitrun whether a device existed to read the frequencies and they referred me to this product. It has worked great, and without it I could not successfully pair the Bietruns on 8 different frequencies. (I can also scan the venue to see whether there are conflicting frequencies in the room.)

Works as promised. Easy to use. Small and handy.Like all inexpensive test gear, you must take care not to physically abuse it.Easily worth the price. I'm getting another for my work location.

Very accurate but a little bothersome to use, having to switch ranges. But I do recommend this counter, it is well worth the price.

This frequency counter comes with its own USB charging cable, no need to open it up to change batteries. The charge time is pretty fast. The menu takes some getting used to, but I mastered it in 5 minutes. When measuring transmit frequencies, remember to hold the counter at least 2 feet from the transmitting antenna, especially when measuring UHF frequencies. If they are too close together, incorrect readings will result.

I'm a targeted individual, and I purchased this as part of a rudimentary toolkit I have to detect and document electronic harassment. My unit seems to work fine, but there's a couple significant issues: (1) The unit I received saves 200 entries, not 50 as advertised. But I have not found a way either overwrite or erase saved entries. I have sent a query to the seller, but they have only stated that old entries are overwritten, which is definitely not the case with my unit. And there's nothing in the menu to do anything about it, and the menu itself is pretty limited. (2) Another purchaser has stated something about the unit often displaying multiple readings that are not quite strong enough to be automatically saved--which is pointless for me since I can no longer save even strong readings--but it is exactly some of those "stray" readings that I'm interested in saving, even if it means having to do so manually when I see the unit sense them.
