Can this product be used on guitar pickups?

I wouldn’t do that. It is a mild abrasive. Pretty certain it will damage gold plating. Possibly damage nickel or chrome. I’d look for something milder. It works great on frets.

Can this product be used with a Dremel buffing wheel?

I don't see why not, as long as you use masking tape to protect the fret board.

How is this different than your average Flitz metal polish? Never used this product before and want to polish my frets. thanks

If you already have metal polish that works, I don't think you'll see much difference.
