TV & Furniture Anti-Tip Straps with Mounting Hardware

I bought a few sets of these strap sets to protect our grandbaby from a tipping TV. They arrived quickly. They appear very sturdy, with metal end plates to hold the screws. They came with a variety of screw sizes to fit a variety of TVs. The fattest ones fit our Samsung TV perfectly and are quite long enough to secure the metal end plate to the back of the TV. I also discovered our LG TV already has screws, probably meant for wall mounting the TV, that would work with these straps. I haven't used them long enough to know for sure, and I know others have questioned the sturdiness of plastic parts on other types of TV straps, but it seems like a quick release buckle in the middle of each strap would make it easier to get to the back of the TV if you need to plug or unplug wires or dust around, under, or behind the TV. As it is, you need to unscrew the plate at one end of the strap to turn the TV around or move it. If your TV is set back in a large entertainment center piece of furniture, I can see installation being tricky but on our flat topped TV stand, no problem. If your TV isn't subject to a lot of jostling, finger tightening the screws at the top of the TV might be adequately secure and would make loosening them easier if you need to get behind the TV.

This strap set was installed easily. It came with various sized screws to install on the back of any flat screen TV. I mounted it to my Grandma's buffet that I inherited so these straps will be attached to one of my favorite things in the world for as long as I use it for a TV stand. My grandma would be in shock at the size of TVs today. She was happy with a 19 inch tv. Sadly she pasted in 2002. She loved her TV time so she would be proud of what I have done with her buffet. So these straps are going to help ensure many more good memories with my grandma's buffet while watching my new huge flat screen. And no disasters from the TV being tipped. So thank you for selling these to me. My family will be much happier.

Had the right bolt for my Samsung. Only issue is there wasn't any way to fully fasten one end to the TV stand. Only one screw could go into something solid. Most stand backs have 1/4" plywood or press wood on the back so putting a long screw into that wouldn't do much good and would stick though and be a nuisance. I got one screw into the thickness of the maple TV stand top we have. I guess I could have wrecked the stand top and attached it in the top of that... But I paid a ton for the stand and didn't want to wreck the top of it!

We used these straps to secure our 55-in samsung tv. The straps and buckles all feel very secure. It came with the hardware for attaching to the TV, we provided our own screws for the other side (which makes sense, since the seller wouldn't know where the user was attaching it). My only note, which does NOT subtract from my satisfaction with the straps, is that they were too short to allow us to attach them to the TV stand; we had to put them into wall studs. That's TV model- and size-dependent, though, and this doesn't feel or appear any less secure.

Straps are excellent quality and a great price compared to others that are listed. They were easy to install and adjust to a 65 inch Samsung. The only issue that keeps this from being a 5 star is the lengths of screws that come with the package. While to longest one did just barely fit, a longer screw would be more secure. I ended up finding a longer screw and using that. Otherwise the product, service and speed of delivery were excellent.

Simple product for a simple purpose. These straps worked perfectly and came with a variety of screws to ensure it will work with your tv. Took me about 10 minutes to install them and now I have peace of mind that my little gremlin won't be have it fall on her head.

Did not like these whatsoever. One end has 3 screws, the other end? Just one screw. The tightening clip is a cheap plastic piece that glides pretty freely and does not stay in place very well. After my purchase, the company indicated they'd like feedback as it was a newish product. Well, here you go. We have other furniture straps in our home and they all have 3 screws on either end. Also, the tightening mechanism is metal and clips into place with teeth. Invest in your product more - this strap does not provide me piece of mind and we will be replacing them with something else.

Our baby likes to crawl and stand close to the tv. Thankfully I found these and they work great! If you notice there aren't instructions that come with them, check your email as they were sent there prior to receiving them. I relieved that one thing I don't have to worry about for baby!
