Im not jumpy but I jumped when taking it from the box. I forgot I ordered it. It was in the plastic it came in to protect it... and I jumped. My son jumped when he saw it on the counter in it’s plastic protective shell. Taking it out it was clear, this was very realistic. It was packed well for protecting its lifelike body and legs. I was so giddy when placing it under the toilet seat to scare my wife. I checked it after about an hour to be sure it was in the right place for when she lifted the seat and it scared the heck out of me, even knowing it was there. Since she didn’t see it during the day, it meant she would face this thing in the middle of the night with just the dull blue night light on in the bathroom. I can’t believe this thing is so realistic. It was then I decided my wife would likely have a heart attack if she saw it (she is actually scared of spiders and I am really not). I moved it to her desk chair which she wouldn’t see until morning. And it terrified her. I asked he if she would have died if I left it under the toilet seat and she agreed she probably would have or lost control of her bodily functions. It’s more pricey but worth it.

Although this doesn't look exactly like any species I'm personally familiar with, it's very detailed, including the two larger front eyes, and the fangs, as I would expect from Papo. Maybe its a species from another part of the world than North America. The body is pretty solid, the legs very flexible, but always snap back to their original position. With its gray and black markings it looks a little extra creepy, would fit right in for Halloween, just remember its less than 4 inches long leg span. Its a nice addition to my figure collection. I like wolf and jumping spiders like this one, which actively hunt rather than ambush on webs.

I felt it was good quality. I only bought for a prank on the wife and gave it to the kids after. They still play with it

Item looks just like the picture, and that's a good thing. However, dimensions are inaccurate. Item is much smaller than described. Shipping took longer than expected with no ability to find out where it was in transit. When I inquired, seller got back to me quickly and took steps to get the item to me, so that I can appreciate. As for the value, I cannot really recommend this item based on cost. It looks good and that's a plus, but it is just not worth the full price. Hope this helps.

Very detailed and accurate model spider. Amazingly lifelike. Much better than I was expecting, I'm used to joke spiders that don't fool anyone. Actually worth the price, I reckon. This is a very good model spider, not for arachnophobes.

Esattamente come in foto, le zampe sono morbide e il resto del corpo in plastica più dura. Sembra di tenere in mano un vero ragno. Dipinto in maniera molto dettagliata. Esattame come in foto e molto resistente.

Vorweg, ich besitze einige Spinnenmodelle, die meisten von Bullyland, mit denen ich auch sehr zufrieden war (siehe irgendwo in meinen anderen Rezensionen). Die Tarantel ist ein sehr schönes und sehr detailliertes Model (noch feiner als Bullyland), welches wohl die Apulische Tarantel (Lycosa tarantula) darstellen solll. Der Körper ist ~5cm lang, der weiteste Beinabstand beträgt ~10,5cm. Das Material ist recht weich und biegsam (aber kein schlabberiges Weichgummi), weswegen sich die Spinne beim platzieren schön dem Untergrund anpasst - anders als bei anderen starreren Modellen. Bei mir steht die Spinne auf dem Schreibtisch. Die Beine sind recht dünn, sollten aber einem Bespielen auch aushalten. Nur feste dran ziehen würde ich lieber nicht Kurz: Nun mein Lieblingsmodell.
