I used to miss deliveries due to not hearing knocking on the door. I have this installed on two different entrance doors. I set up different ring tones so that I know which door I need to open. It wasceasy to install and perfect for what I needed. I don't know about how waterproof they are because both of my entraces have a little roof over them and so do not get direct rain.
