Easy to use, great coverage. This turns your grey hair into subtle golden highlights. Beautiful

I’ve been using this the past few years and notice it has much better coverage of greys than normal henna powder. No mixing necessary, the henna dye is much easier and faster to apply. Just like regular henna, i leave it in my hair for about 6 hours to take full effect. In the past i tried recommended time frame and it didn’t take to my hair. Washed out after the first wash. So now i leave for 6 hours. No ill effects from this. It fully takes to my hair and won’t fully wash out for about 2.5 months, which is how often i re-dye my hair anyway. It starts out rather dark and fades to a nice rich brown after a few washes. Buying on Amazon is usually cheaper than in store, but i do find that this brand can be found at most health food stores I’ve searched. I use griffin remedy color safe shampoo to maintain the color. I usually wash my hair 2 times per week so as to maintain the color longer, otherwise it might fade after about a month. I will continue buying this brand for the foreseeable future as all the other henna dye powders seem less effective on my greys. If you have a decent amount of grey, you will like this product. Just make sure to totally saturate down to the root and let sit for 6 hours. I know it’s annoying but i usually sleep with it in and put down an old towel to protect my bedding. Then i wake up and shower to rinse it out. Works like a charm.

I loved the way this henna hair color was already mixed and ready to be applied. Very easy and plenty to do my long hair from scalp to the ends.However the dark brown I ordered actually appeared more of a reddish brown where my gray was. (The pictures show close to my scalp where my hair had grown out, and was gray and is now a light brown/red color) The darker parts of my brown hair absorbed color and is now a healthy beautiful dark brown with a slight hint of red. I let the color sit on my hair for 60 minutes before I washed it out. Maybe leaving it on for 2 hours would have achieved a darker brown color where my gray was. ?Overall this was easy to use (make sure you have your own gloves as none are provided) hair color, low/no odor and my hair shines and feels healthy. Will buy again for overall color, but will still have to use traditional powdered henna (alternating) for root growth to get a darker coverage.

Ideal for black hair , does no damage, great color result.

I've been using this product for close to ten years; absolutely love it. But the last three orders have come without gloves and the plastic cap. The first time it happened , I thought it was a production fluke. The second time, I went to their website and contacted customer service and asked them if this was something new. I never received a response. I ordered this one, and again no gloves and no cap. I luckily found an old pair of gloves in the garage and I'm using a plastic grocery produce bag. Unfortunately, I think I need to find a new product that comes with the necessary items to color my hair. This last time was an absolute mess! Henna is not the easiest thing to clean up especially without gloves. The box continues to say that gloves and cap are included but obviously this is false advertising. So upset, so disappointed, but I'm definitely not going to continue to purchase this product without gloves and cap.

The color was ok but not dark enough for my hair color even though I matched it up to what was shown on the box. What I didn’t like was that the color continued to wash out and drip out of my hair 2 weeks after I colored it. As much as I want a healthier hair color I most likely won’t buy this again.
