Legendary brand name that lives up to the hype: yes, the zippers are THAT good. Besides, polycarbonate construction is unbeatable. It does have soft point: it abrades and scratches easily but that's the only negative aspect I can think of. Great case!

One of the things that attracted me to this suitcase was the design of the exterior shell with the high points. I am tired of my nice suitcases looking like they have been through a war. I took a long, return trip with the large sister to this bag (7 flights total) and the exterior looks like the day I first packed it, no noticeable scrapes, scuffs, dirt or gouges. The wheels roll beautifully even on carpet. It was packed to the max (expanded) 50 lb and everything held up beautifully. I especially like the built-in locks. Before, I would buy good TSA locks only to find them not on my suitcase when I arrived, even if, at times, the suitcase had not been inspected! I just purchased this medium mate because I was so happy with the large one.

I travel often for work and fun. Often times I drive when I travel and to be fair I have not taken this suitcase through an airport YET, however I will and update my review accordingly.This suitcase packs a lot of items for being so lightweight and unassuming. I am able to put everything I need into this suitcase and still have room for more! Although I am an experienced packer, I still pack a lot, including my heavy steel toed boots. This suitcase is also very durable and sleek. I like that the wheels glide over many different surfaces with ease, and is not likely to tip over due to how sturdy it is! I find that there are a lot of different types of Samsonite luggage, and I found that this particular line got a lot of marks for durability. I also appreciate the affordability for my price range. I do believe you get what you pay for and I know that luggage can get destroyed by airlines, so I wanted to opt for a nicely made suitcase as opposed to one that strictly based on the cost. I find that the suitcase is well made and durable.

C'est ma troisième valise de cette collection. Cabine, moyenne et grande. Légère, solides, extensibles. Cette fois, je l'ai prise bleue pour retrouver facilement mon bagage, car des noires et grises anthracite, je ne suis pas la seule, mais je n'ai jamais vu de bleue. Roule très bien en douceur.
