Be Cooler Than the Cool Kids!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Nicely machined ring and bolts that is now a key part of the rehab of my 12 y.o. Epic drive line. Well packaged and well finished, but with no instructions. That's fine - don't get in a hurry; do your homework on chainline and other factors, gather up the needed metric Allen socket and torque wrench and you too can turn your dated MTB steed into a retro 1x that'd be the envy of any Portland brew pub crowd.Bolts have a clever indexing keyway that keeps the 'nut' from turning as you tighten. Pay mind to that and to the front side washer that needs to slip over the collar and everything will snug up great. I had to take a file and dress the shoulders of my crank spider arms, which were just a man bun hair bigger than the inside diameter of the chain ring tabs.Love the degree of ovaliciousness; just enough of a cam effect to add some grunt while not getting in your face like an old Biopace ring. Takes your ride right past the other 1x steeds in the pub bike rack!

Great value & perfect fit
I bought this to convert my 2014 Diamondback Overdrive Carbon from a 3x10 to a 1x10 setup. I ordered the 32T with 104 BCD in red, since the middle ring I favored on the 3x setup was a 33T. It came with black anodized aluminum bolts. The holes in the chainring are threaded and the bolts thread directly into the chainring, so there are no backings to the bolts. The chainring is offset to better align it to center. There is a small triangle to align the ring with the crank arm and a small notch on the opposite side of the ring. The wide part is wide enough that it will make contact with my chainstay protector, so I had to make sure the protector was out of the way. Any larger than the 32T oval would probably hit my frame. So far I'm enjoying this setup. If you're on the fence about converting from a 2x or 3x, I recommend using an online bicycle gear ratio calculator to see how many redundant ratios you have. Then consider what range you typically use, and what ratios you can do without from the top and bottom ends. This ring was inexpensive enough to make it worth trying and I'm glad I did.

Love the Chainring; Disappointed in the Hardware
Item is as described and after only a couple short rides I'm very satisfied with the performance and quality. I need to move it to the middle position on my crank for better alignment, but the bolts included with this are too long. Washers / spacers are included, but it was too close for comfort to the suspension pivot on my setup so I chose to relocate the chainring until I replace with shorter hardware.I thought I read that the chainring was threaded for the included bolts. It may be on a different size but is definitely not with the 34 tooth option I purchased. The nuts do have tabs to lock in place when inserted on the back of the chainring which is exponentially better than using a chainring nut wrench. But none of this matters when the included bolt sheared at 10Nm (88 in-lbs). Thankfully there was just enough left to get a hex key in it and back it out. I replaced the hardware temporarily with a spare set of steel nuts and torqued them to the specified 12Nm (106 in-lbs).

Solid build on a budget price.
Just came back from a test ride on this fifty fifty oval chain ring. I'm surprised to find out how solid it was on the pedals. I owned an older anthem and since the 1x trend came along, I just dont feel like selling this beloved bike. Instead, I found this oval narrow wide chainring fit my older XT Crankset perfectly, to convert it to a one by system. So I have kept my bike up-to-date by spending a fraction of what a sram 1x system would have cost me. And yet, this brand's quality is great. just look at the color and the CNC marks.

Good quality that won’t break the bank. Looks good too!
Strong and affordable. Love how they also include chain ring bolts. I elected to use my existing ones. If your cranks are multi ring this ring will only fit where the second ring would mount. You can run a chain guide if you want.

Worked well with 1x7 set up
Looks great works great. I was worried because I wanted to use this with a 21 speed set up I converted to 1x7. I was afraid it would be to narrow since it is set up for a 10 speed chain. I was wider than the cheap stamped steel chainring that came on my bike. Very happy with it
