Complicated techniques such as the ‘Scrub and Roll’ were hard to teach to children, and adults failed to employ them properly. Drawing from his experiences trying to brush his elderly father’s teeth, who had been diagnosed with parkinson’s at the time, Dr. Collis created the first ever 3 sided curved bristle toothbrush. The Collis Curve Toothbrush’s unique curved design allowed for easier brushing for everybody. Since 1980, the Collis Curve Toothbrush has been helping the special needs community by facilitating oral care needs for people with autism, parkinson’s, or other special needs that would benefit from easier brushing techniques.

Directions

Use the curved bristles to brush all exposed surfaces of the teeth side to side. This will help limit the amount of time spent brushing and also work best to clean the back teeth. The soft bristles are gentle on sensitive gums and will not cause bleeding. Use the toothbrush for braces to get around difficult spots on implants. Replace the toothbrush every 3-4 months or sooner if the bristles become frayed.
