This is a very cool watch. Definitely worth the purchase. Suggestion: order a new band or strap at the same time as watch. A definite replacement necessity. Other than that?? Great, fun little watch.

Bottom line, it's a well made mechanical/automatic dive watch for only $85. The factory has a unique history and the watches are well made, come in every style you could ask for, and are practically indestructible. The strap that comes with the watch is very basic and you will likely want to replace it, no matter which one you get. Additionally, the crystal scratches pretty easy, so take care there. This is my second Vostok. I own an amphibia model 420 and a 710 (this is the 420). Love them both. I wanted a more round, less bulky version of the 710, and this is exactly that. However, the strap is a noticeably small 18mm. It feels like smaller for a dive watch overall as a result, for better or for worse.

Hi — Duped or poor quality control. Two issues with my Vostok. First is that the watch I got has poor quality control, as moisture is condensing under the dial meaning that the case was sealed in high humidity conditions at the factory. That’s not my fault, that’s poor quality control. It was like this more or less out of the box, and as an owner of many watches, I know how to properly seal down a screw down crown so the gasket is properly sealed. The second is that the watch band was sent with an orange nato strap with black square metal and is much more thin than the strap in the picture which is both thicker and has grey round metal. These two things lead me to believe I was duped or this watch has poor quality control.

At first I thought it would be just a new addition to my collection, but after using it a few times I realised I liked the way it looks on my wrist. I use it very often…keep time really well so far no adjustments needed.

This is a great, cheap watch with an amazing history. It looks much nicer in person and has a nice weight to it. The history of Vostok is amazing and adds to the enjoyment of this watch. The bright nato strap is very comfortable. This watch keeps good time. As good as a nice Swiss watch.

Good just as described. The photo still has the protective film on the watch. I have been meaning to get a Vostok watch for myself. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

You would never want to use this for actual diving as the rotating bezel moves freely in both directions with no click. This watch is for aesthetics only.

Great watch at a great price. They really can take a beating and keep on ticking.

Well made, the bezel is tight contrary to past reviews, which was welcome. Delivery was to wrong flat but due to photo I was able to assertain which neighbour had it and retrieve it

Wow. Alltough this watch is not perfect. No Hacking Movement! The caliber has a lot of play when adjusting the time. Accuracy could be a bit better. But for me the perfect everyday watch. I cannot wear expensive automatic watches during my work day as I constantly beat up the case. This is the perfect combination: Having the technical inspiring automatic movement for a price which is hard to believe to be manufactured for this cost. Definitely best price/value ratio out there.
