Very well made. Feels more expensive than it was. Like one of the ones from the 1980s that you can still find, not one of the other new, cheaply made models. This one will most likely last a lifetime. Easily holds me standing on it at 140lbs, but I use it primarily for beneath the desk as a foot stool, because I'm petite. It's lightweight and easy to move around. It can withstand opening and closing repeatedly for probably years. Opens and closes like butter. Doesn't have or seem like it will ever develop the sharp edges in the grooves like others. I'm considering buying a second one for a different room.

I keep this in my van. It is just the right height to help senior riders step in. It folds and unfolds easily and fits cleanly under a seat. Would not be tall enough for a toddler to reach the sink, but probably the right height to rest your feet for other business in the bathroom.

I needed to raise our dog dishes to help them from choking on their water. We wanted a non-wood platform but sturdy enough to hold the water dispenser. This was the exact size we needed it. It locked pretty easily and came in a color that matched our house. I can't speak about the durability of having to stand on it although it seems like it would hold you.

I use this for church where my short legs dangle and hurt my knees! SO this fold flat and fits in my large tote bag. It is a little wide, so requires a wide tote, but looks and works just as described. It is very sturdy and easy to handle.

You know those really high beds in hotels? I am old, short, and have bad hips. I have even gone to the trouble of taking the mattress off the bed, but then my problem becomes getting up. This stool solves those problems. No more sleeping on the couchbed for me. This gives me just enough height to allow me to get my butt up and swing into bed. WOOOOOHOOOO.

Excellent. My wife has problems getting into the car and this little step made a huge difference.
