will keep the 120 volt conversion to the radio so ...

will keep the 120 volt conversion to the radio so batteries are not needed but the Sangean radio does not recharge with the radio toggle switch in 'recharge' mode. probably the polarity is wrong on the power supply

Doesn't Fit the Radio

This is advertised as a charger for the Sangean PR-D7 radio but the plug is 5mm shorter than the Sangean plug (10mm vs. 15mm). Thus the plug doesn't fit securely in the radio. Jiggling the plug will get the charging light to come on but it won't stay on.
