Good basic sheets, soft, wrinkle-free, but thin
First, I love the color (spa blue). I really prefer crisp white percale sheets, but that doesn't work for my husband (he sweats a lot at night, so white sheets become yellow rather quickly). For whatever reason, I can't seem to find nice percale sheets like my grandma used to have. She never wasted money on high thread count, but her sheets were also crisp and fresh and smooth. All the sheets I have tried over the years end up being rough or they pill or they wrinkle. I had one set that I loved the feel of, but the top sheet would NOT ever give me a nice clean edge, even if I ironed it. So when we bought our new king-size bed and had to upgrade all our queen size bedding, I decided to take a chance on these microfiber sheets. They are thinner than I expected, but they seem to be sturdy, I hope. Only time will really tell. They washed up beautifully, and when I pulled them out of the dryer (TBH, it was 3 days later), there wasn't a wrinkle to be seen and no pilling. When we put the fitted sheet on the bed, it fit snugly, exactly as it is supposed to, without a wrinkle and without any loose sections that tend to annoy me when I'm in bed at night. The top sheet fit well, but I wish it were longer. The sides drape just right, but the length didn't give me much to tuck under the end of the bed, which is actually very important to me, as my husband is a rough sleeper and tends to pull sheets and blankets out if they aren't well-tucked. The pillowcases are much larger than I expected. We have good quality thick bamboo pillows that are dwarfed by these cases' length (probably extra 6 inches or more hanging loose at the end of the pillow), but they fit the pillows properly in every other regard, nice and smooth, snug without being tight. The sheets are smooth and soft. Not percale crisp, but a nice softness that might just convince me to give up on the percale dream. They also don't have that weird microfiber feel that so many others have (can't really describe it, but it just doesn't feel natural to me). I only have 2 complaints, and they are fairly minor. The biggest complaint is that the bottom sheet fits well, but it doesn't stay in place. Woke up in the morning with the sheet completely off in one corner. I'm hoping that it is just that we didn't get it on quite right the first time and maybe it will hold up better in the future, or maybe I'm going to have to invest in some straps to hold the corners in place better. The other complaint is more like a suggestion. our last set of sheets had a small tag on the fitted sheet that said "Top or Bottom" so we always knew which way to put it on the bed. Queen sheets were easier to identify ends from sides (obvious rectangle), as the king sheets are closer to square and harder to identify ends. We had to put the sheet on and try it, then pull it off and turn it before we knew the correct placement. I will put some kind of mark on it myself for future placement, but it would sure be nice if the manufacturer would include that tag from the get-go.

My search was over.
For two years. Two years I suffered in silence. Yes. I.... I a struggling young adult struggled with only one... Yes that's right ONE set of sheets. Every week it was the same. Strip the bed. Wash the sheets, dry the sheets, remake the bed. Over the 2 years my one poor set of sheets took a beating. They saw countless menstrual cycles, various cold and flue viruses, dogs, and sleep overs. I meticulously washed and bleached those sheets until one day I took them from the wash and noted that they were beyond bleaching or stain removal. There were dying.... They were dying gray.I searched high and low. Went to target and TJ Maxx... But to no avail. Why... Why were simple square pieces of fabric $50.00!?!?!? I could not afford this. I could not justify the spending of $50.00 on plain white fabric. So I searched. I searched high and I searched low Until I came here...To The Amazon. It was here. Here I discovered them. Plain white sheets at a modest and affordable price."Don't buy them! You'll regret it! You need Egyptian cotton!" My mother said."No! I care not what cotton they be! All I need are sheets! I have no one to impress! No one who shares my bed! I am a lowly virgin promised in matrimony to another with a sworn vow of chastity! I care not for fancy sheets!" I shouted. So I bought them. I made my bed and I laid in it. And I can tell you that yes... They are I fact sheets that you can sleep in.

Great purchase
I bought these for my son's room, and I've never seen a child so excited lol. He put them straight in the wash and dryer to get them in his bed!Ordered: burgundy twin xlPros: color is rich and vibrant, while the material is soft and comfy. Looks expensive but for a fraction of the cost!Cons: they are thin so I assume they won't last a super long time, but for the price I won't complain just worth noting. I did notice the dryer had a red tint on the inside after washing these sheets, so make sure to wash separately the first couple times. Nothing stained my dryer easily cleaned up, again just noting ..All in all a solid purchase! And I'm actually considering getting another set for my bed!

Nothing like Sheex - still a solid sheet set
TL;DR below.I was looking for a more reasonably-priced alternative to Sheex and several reviews drew comparisons, so I gave them a shot. They are nothing at all like Sheex; let me fully disabuse you of that idea. I’m still on the lookout, I don’t want to pull the $200 trigger on the real deal just yet.Despite not being what I wanted, it’s a comfortable and well-made sheet set. A good option if looking for a more cotton-like set feel that is wrinkle-resistant. They don’t feel cheaply made, quality stitching, and not ultra-thin.Worth noting: - They do have a slight satin-like sheen to them; and- The “dark gray” set might look like a super-light gray in the photos, but it’s much darker in reality - and has a somewhat green tinge to them, not unlike the cotton set they offer. Be prepared for the color to be quite different.TL;DR: Altogether a solid set, however (1) they’re absolutely nothing at all like Sheex, despite some reviews comparing the two, (2) avoid if a mild shine is a dealbreaker, and (3) dark gray is not light gray as depicted, but actually dark gray/green.

And honest review
Check this out so I wanted to get some new sheets because mine were peeling pretty bad so I was like this looks cool it’s cheap and it has great is so I bought them I did same-day shipping got here at like 3 PM. Put these things on my bed and I can’t tell you how good of a sleep I had that night I’m not very picky when it comes to sheets I’m not one of those sensitive skin people where I need like extra softness whatever not I’m just a regular dude that likes my sheets and I can’t tell you that I wasn’t hot I wasn’t sweaty. I felt good last night, and to be honest I didn’t have like a swamp ass or nothing. It was a great purchase 10 out of 10 would recommend again.

Newly changed material is terrible
My boyfriend has bought these sheets for us many times in the past and we've loved them, they are polyester but felt like cotton. They have lasted for years and are so comfortable. We bought new ones because we upgraded to a Queen and needed bigger sheets. The new sheets feel awful! Even though the tag says its the same material and it's the same product, these sheets feel completely different. I don't think Amazon should be allowed to market these sheets marketed as the same ones they used to sell. The material, doesn't breathe, feels terrible to the touch and snags on feet. And after using them for 2 weeks, they have pilled. Oh well, I was about to throw them out anyway. So disappointing.

These will stain what they touch
WARNING: Upon receiving, I found these sheets bled their Navy Blue color onto things (after 2 extra rinse prewashes), which were then permanently stained by it. Were it not for that dealbreaking flaw, these sheets would be a 3/5 given the price and assuming you don't particularly care about the list of cons below. Personally, a year later, I regret not immediately refunding and replacing.Cons: 1) NOT COLORFAST - can and will stain anything touched 2) EXTREME PILLING + threads coming out regardless of delicate washing and air drying (both immediately evident), 3) DETRITUS SUPER MAGNET - attracts fluff/hair/whatever and doesn't want to let it go in the wash (vacuuming, LOL at having to, does nothing - most of it is stuck on as though by barbs)Pros: 1) PRICE - If you get non-dyed and none of the above concerns you, might be a reasonable value (quite a bit of rationalizing here - Costco currently has a microfibre set for $17), 2) SHRED RESISTANCE - somewhat more resistant to ripping/tearing than expensive cotton sheets, 3) TECHNICALLY FUNCTIONAL - they don't feel awful to touch/sleep on as far as I can tell, but neither did any other bedsheet set ive had, every one of which was superior in terms of all cons.

Stained?
Arrived with small purple stains on it, VERY noticeable on the bright white colour! It doesn't seem to be anything yucky but is still disappointing. I'm sure it will come out with bleach, therefor have opted not to return, but this is the first time I've been dissapointed by the Amazon Basics brand! And it seems through other reviews i'm not the only one! Easy fix for white with a little bleach but I can't imagine it coming out without damaging the dye on any other colour.
