Aveeno Active Naturals Pure Renewal Dry Shampoo, 4.8 Ounce

I am always apprehensive of trying different dry shampoos because I have tried a bunch of 'flops'. But THIS one I am in love with!! The smell is great (it has a fresh smell), doesn't leave my scalp feeling itchy or greasy/oily like some other brands do.I applied it at a couple places in my roots and then on my bangs. Then I blow-dried by hair (a little tip from my cosmetologist). The result: fluffy, just-like-new hair with no bed-head!

Most dry shampoo brands I have tried smell really bad. I will say for dry shampoo this one isn't that bad at all.... But it's not good enough to say I enjoy it .Dry shampoo doesn't really do much for my hair and most brands irritate my scalp. One positive is that this one does not cause any irritation at all. A con, it doesn't blend into dark hair very good

This product definitely worked - after you spray it on and let it dry, there is some white powder residue, but it brushes away easily. In the past, I relied upon way more expensive products. This works, for far less money. I can bring it with me to the gym when I squeeze in a morning/lunchtime workout, and can skip the shower 'til I get home after work. My only reservation is: the smell. I'm not crazy about the fragrance - it kinds serves to remind me I haven't washed my hair! :)

This is my least liked dry shampoos. I couldn't get it out of my hair with a blow dryer much less a comb. Perhaps I used it in excess. I gave it to my sister who likes it very much. She has longer hair and probably used it correctly. Personally, I've used and like other brands much better than this one. I have dark hair and it left a dusty look to my hair when it should have been making it look clean.

It is way too wet for a dry shampoo. I have to use a blow dryer to dry my roots again and it doesn't do nearly as good a job as the one I use now - So Gorgeous - Volume Renewing Dry Shampoo that I buy at Sally's. It is truly dry and does the job.

Really love this dry shampoos! It has my favorite scent I have ever had in a dry shampoo. I have thick black hair that is on the drier side. It works great at refreshing hair, but not over drying. It also doesn't leave your hair looking white as long as you comb it out properly. One of the best values for dry shampoos! Highly recommend!

This is the best dry shampoo I have ever used. I have really oily hair but try to go as many days as possible without having to wash. I have found the best technique is to spray on roots and let sit for 5-10 minutes and then rub into scalp with fingers. I don't use a brush because i don't think you get the same effect.

Sulfate free, but not color safe.For those of you who are looking for a good dry shampoo for colored hair (mine is purple), beware of this! you should be avoiding sulfates, but you should also be avoiding alcohol - which this contains. So when you spray it on - it pulls color off your hair - and when it dries, the powder takes up the color (It's like those wet to dry carpet cleaners). Otherwise, it does a great job in leaving a clean feeling and smell - great for uncolored/treated hair! :)
