As far as the taste, I really think they're fine...actually pleasant. I didn't notice the after taste that some reviewers mentioned. Regarding dosage, if it's your first time, start out with a lower dose (i.e., cut it in half or quarters)...the whole gummy was a little too much for me--I slept a little too hard and had some strange dreams. The next few days I tried halves and was fine.
