Amazing value
Quality is great. You might get more convenience with a more expensive product but it's light and easy to use!

BAD - Cheaply made
The locking mechanism that holds the telescoped rods in place is made of plastic so cheap that the device breaks under its own weight. You may think this is a money saver but with how quickly it breaks you'll end up spending more on a replacement. Can not recommend this. Get the Metolius one.

Light weight and easy to use
This stick collapses down small which is nice to climb with and stow away. It extends easily, but it works best when fully extended since the poles still slide out when they are locked and not fully extended. It is light weight with a hang ring which makes it easy to carry. It's easy to extend and retract as well.

Solid and Lightweight
Very solid yet much lighter than the improvised ones Ive used - simple snap turn to unlock / lock the length and telescoping sections is dummyproof and reliable. Color scheme is great and appears to maybe be anodizing vs paint which should hold up much better. Screw hole on one end is also a nice feature and it comes with a little screw where you could theoretically attach a length of cord or something else. Also really like the instructions are printed clearly on the unit itself with large easy to read photos.

Genius construction but not very robust
I want to love this clip stick. Sturdy and lightweight. Easy to expand and collapse. Has instructions engraved on the side.Unfortunately, it's also easy to break. Each section has little plastic stopers at the end. When collapsing, they ensure the parts get inside in the correct order. They break easily if you try to collapse the stick when one of the bottom sections is locked.. Or when you put it vertically and let them fall on each other. Once the stoppers break, the individual segments slide out of each other and the whole thing falls apart into a pile of aluminum pipes...Fortunately, I have access to a high end 3D printer and a variety of materials, and I was able to design and make replacement stoppers. They are ar least as strong as the original ones, but still would break easily if the stick is mishandled. There is just not much space between the metal pipes to make them any beefier...The bottom line - it works great if you're gentle with it. Always fully unlock all four sections and collapse it slowly by hand. Don't force it. Don't put it vertically and let the sections fall on each other. Also, the little metal ring on the bottom of the stick isn't strong. I replaced it with a loop of Dyneema cord.

Great customer service!
This is an ultralight stick clip that you can take up a route with you. Let's you work all those scary cruxes on TR! My clipup had a broken segment and Kailas fixed it SUPER fast. You can also screw a eye bolt into the bottom and clip it your harness easier. I still have a giant full size clip for short approaches, but this things never leaves my bag.
