Dragon Masters, Books 1-5: A Branches Box Set Paperback – September 21, 2021

The media could not be loaded. I’m a mom of four, and let’s just say I was desperate for something new after what felt like a lifetime of Captain Underpants.Dragon Masters was a total win! The stories are exciting, the chapters are short (perfect for bedtime), and my kids love that each dragon has its own special powers. I grabbed this series as an Easter basket gift and it a total hit with my 6 and 8 year old-we just finished the last book!Highly recommend — my kids love it, and I actually enjoy reading it too!

I bought these for my husband to read to my four year old before bed. So far she is obsessed! The chapters are short enough that reading 2-3 a night is perfect. The illustrations are great! My daughter really looks forward to them and talks about them all day.

My husband picked up the first Dragon Master book on a whim at our local public library, and from that first reading, my daughter has been hooked on the series...for over a year! We’ve read almost every book in the series at this point, and she’s eagerly awaiting the release of future books.Things to love:- Dragons, of course, in varying shapes, sizes, colors & talents- Diverse cast of kids/characters from a variety of (fictional) countries/cultures- Fun to read (and act) out loud (although we had to tone down our interpretation of Maldred a little bit ) ^_^- Has themes of friendship, teamwork, and wanting to make the world a better place- While (so far) each book has been formulaic with a new Dragon Master/dragon introduced with each book, there are story arcs that span several books (builds anticipation and interest, encourages reading comprehension and paying attention)

I had these for my son when he was younger and they were absolutely fantastic. My nephew has just started reading and I got these for him as well and he is absolutely loving them! I would def recommend for any new readers in your life.

These are amazing I love this set! I got this for my son who is in 1st grade and he is obsessed. The story is very engaging for his age and he really wants to know what happens next. He can't wait for the next chapter and is always asking me to give him more time to read. I was trying to ween him off of Dogman and Captain Underpants because of all the potty humor and this worked out great. I will definitely be buying more of the series in the near future!

Getting our kiddo to read is often a struggle because of his adhd. But not with these books, which were recommended by an occupational therapist friend of ours. Our kiddo read all 5 of these books and asked me to order the next ones in the set. The story is action packed, fun, and easy to read which encouraged him to keep reading. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a high adventure book with great illustrations

My 7 year old loves these books! I am currently reading them to him, but look forward to him reading them himself next year!
