Bought one in beige last summer and wore it all year long. Love it so much, just got it in another color. It’s been worn 2-3 days a week, washed and dried and still in excellent shape

So far, so good with this hoodie. I tested it out in the afternoon sun, and while I could feel the heat on my back, I didn't get sunburned. It did protect me. The entire hoodie does protect the most sensitive areas and really does protect the neck. I like how it fits, and it is cool. I'm petite, so the XS fit somewhat big for my body, but as I want to wear another shirt underneath the hoodie, I was fine with it fitting somewhat loose. Overall, good buy so far, and I will do what another reviewer said: wear it out when I'm driving to protect me. I live in an area (near the equator) where the sun is blazing.Now, my shoulders are super sensitive to the sun, so while I was wearing it I did feel heat on my back from how strong the sun was, but I didn't get burned. The material is cooling, so I wasn't sweating or hot, but the sun here is so strong that nothing can protect you from absorbing the heat. I am still going to wear sunblock underneath the hoodie to protect my shoulders: that's the only part of me that's that sensitive to the sun as I've gotten burned there before. If I plan on staying in the blazing sun for really long then I'll probably wear another SPF underneath this one just in case, but overall, I think this does protect. I just think I need more protection than a regular person on my shoulders.What I love about this the most is that it covers the neck area and the ears and top of the head and my shoulders and back, which are the most sensitive areas to the sun. My legs don't get as sensitive as my shoulders when exposed to the sun. I just like how much it covers while still being cooling to the body. I think this is great for walking around or doing activities that require being outside, but I definitely am going to wear it while driving as I can't really wear a hat as it'll block my view to wear a really large hat, so this is really good for driving in the afternoon.I read that it runs big (at least for petite people), so I wasn't disappointed it wasn't form-fitting especially as I plan to wear another SPF shirt underneath (just in case). I love being outside, so I had to get this hoodie. I have hats etc., but the sun here is so strong that you have to really protect yourself: otherwise you barely get time with nature. Even at 7 p.m. here the sun is still strong in the summer. Overall, a good buy, and it's working so far. I just bought it and have only used it once, but I did test it out before writing this review.My advice is to still wear some sunblock if you have sensitive areas like your shoulders, but I think this hoodie is great for layering and saving money on sunblock. This plus my SPF shirt underneath should save me money on sunblock. It's absolutely necessary to wear protective clothing if you are going to be out in the sun in the summer in a place that's near the equator.I like the color I ordered: lilac.

Light weight and does not feel clingy when wearing it in the hot sun. Love this jacket!

Love this jacket! Its super breathable and you can feel it blocking the sun well. My only complaint is it stains easily and doesn't get visibly clean after washing so as practical as it is i wouldn't buy more since they only come in light colors that would likely stain just as easily

Used this to cover me when going to and leaving the beach this summer. Was a bit hot during the worst of summer when not in a breeze here in Florida. But not as hot as any other jacket that would give me protection in the heat of summer. But was instant relief from the sun and helped not to get that feeling of your skin frying when walking back to your car after a day at the beach. Have since used it on multiple cycling trips. Great sun protection and I love the ability to cover my hands also with the thumb cutouts on the jacket. Easily rolls up so I can put in my backpack, very lightweight. Has held up over the summer with many washes, still same color and looks new. Also can put the hood up and still wear my helmet when cycling to keep my neck out of the sun.

I love this sun shirt. The fabric is light yet comfortable. The color is true to picture. I am 5’4 and weigh 130 lbs. I ordered size M.

My dermatologist told me to make every effort to stay out of the sun. In addition to a wide brimmed hat and sunscreen she suggested I buy a long sleeved shirt or hoodie designed for sun protection. I'm a plus sized woman and I was thrilled to find this jacket in my size. I wore it all summer in hot sunny conditions and it was comfortable even in 100 degree heat. It did a great job of keeping the sun off. Plus, it washes beautifully and stands up to a lot of wear. The hood provides added protection while the thumb straps keep the sleeves in place and covering the backs of my hands. I'll often wear the hood up with my hat on top for the most protection. Totally love this jacket!

Lightweight. Good sun protection. I even like the thumb holes to cover wrist and hand, but NOT cooling. Thought it would be comparable to the cooling, sun protection wrap (from Oh!Sunny) I purchased on Amazon a few days before with the ease of a jacket instead of holding a wrap on, not the same.
