Used this face paint for my daughter’s Elphaba costume. The green is a perfect color. Spreads easily with a sponge and holds up well for hours. Washes off easily off face. Doesn’t wash out well of of the washrag so we used makeup wipes the 2nd round.

Very easy to apply to face. It comes in a stick but it's soft enough to make applying easy. A little goes a long ways. Draw a few stripes across your face and spread it around with your fingertip. Washes off easily with warm water and mild soap.

Love the ease of use. Went on easy with great coverage.

My daughter is a hockey goalie and her and her teammates love to paint their faces before every game. We’ve been using this for over a year and it’s kind on her sensitive skin! It comes off pretty easily and she loves being creative with it! I just bought some more colors that go with her team so she can make her “war paint” more fun! The colors are pretty vibrant!

As the token artist-mom I got roped into helping the freshman class face-painting booth fundraiser. Another mom purchased the oil-based paints and boy and I’m glad I picked up these. The colors were super pigmented and covered great, but also watered down and acted like watercolors when I needed them to. I loved that I could move the individual paints around in the palette to arrange them just how I like. And if needed, I could take certain colors out and use them on their own. Washing up this between kids was quick whereas I’m still cleaning brushes from the oil-based paints a day later. The paint certainly held up, too. Between faces I played around and gave myself some galaxy art and hours later a store cashier thought it was a tattoo. I was the recipient of a massive rainbow across my face. Pink seemed to linger but I was able to get it off without any linger stains with a second round of face wash. One kid changed her mind after I started painted with black. A baby wipe easily cleaned her face without any shadows and I was able to paint a light colored jellyfish. The fundraiser was a success and I will be purchasing more Blue Squid paints for the student artists to use in the next face painting event.

Used for Halloween. Sooo much better than previous oil-based face paints I had bought in the past. It only takes a small bit of water and these cakes go a long way with stellar pigment transfer and true color. The colors do lighten in intensity when they dry so you might need to do more than one layer if applying thinly for large areas. For smaller areas with a smaller brush, I was able to get great opacity with one layer. I ended up only using the black, but 100% highly recommend. I used the black to make lines and designs and mixed with traditional eyeshadow to get the blended accents and look I wanted.

The application of the paint goes on well enough by the stick or with a brush but if you start to get warm and start to sweat this pain will run for days and since it was on and around my eyes be prepared for a lovely stinging sensation until you manage to wash it off. Good product but does not do well under hot conditions.

I love this face paint pallette! I have been doing face paint for big events for quite few years now, this is the first tìme purchasing this brand, bc the one I am used to get, is simply getting too pricey. Well, I was nervous to swap brands but, best desition ever! This ones are way better than the pricey ones! Great quality, bright colors on one stroke, stays on very nicely which is ironic bc is very easy to remove...Seriously, I give it 10/10... will be buying this brand from now on

Great quality, amazing colors, easy to apply and take off. Love the stencils (although I would prefer and would be willing to pay extra for reusable) and booklet. If I buy again, Id probably buy the bigger kit with additional accessories, like the sponges. My son is 5 and keeps wanting to use it, he's really happy about it 🤗

I bought these for a children's fair I was volunteering for. The color is vibrant and it does actually work for over 100 kids. Granted we were mostly doing half faces (so the kids could eat without becoming a mess) but we still have more then half the palette left. They store very well since they are water based.

Bought this for my granddaughter, very impressed with the quality of the paints! Will definitely buy more of Blue Squid’s products
