Hearing God: For Intimacy, Healing, Creativity, Meditation, and Dream Interpretation

I read the Kindle edition of Hearing God, but it’s really designed to be a workbook. Actually, it’s like an interactive daily devotional, with short readings followed by prompts and space to record your thoughts. Since I’m already familiar with Mark Virkler’s books and courses, I read it straight through without doing the exercises.Hearing God covers the four keys to hearing God’s voice, how to meditate on God’s voice, and hearing God through your dreams. This is a good introduction to Mark Virkler’s teachings, but someone new to hearing God’s voice would be better served with his full teaching in his book, 4 Keys to Hearing God’s Voice or his online course.That said, there are plenty of thought-provoking insights and encouraging words in this brief overview.This review first appeared on my blog. I loved discovering this book by Mark Virkler. It’s an easy read, the thing I love about Mark’s writing, he makes you think, but you don’t get lost in it, he helps you get out of your own way. This book helped me discover a source I never knew before of his other books and work. If you knew my testimony that would be easier to understand and appreciate, if you are missing any part of a solid foundation in Communing with God, this divine connection should be of great value to you. It's time that teachings like this hit the heart and soul of people who are struggling, Can I really hear God? Can, I be healed? When You read this, think WOW, God wants to be intimate with ME and wants ME healed and refreshed in my walk with, Him. Take time and refresh your heart in a book that will reassure you and bring faith back to life, that Your Father in Glory wants to visit with YOU.

This book is excellent to guide you to hear God. Everyone can benefit from it. If you are wondering how you can too, this book will not disappoint you. It's very sensibly written and actually hard to put down, it's so well written.Definitely glad I purchased it.

Reads like a textbook, or maybe a workbook. Long and not impressive, not heartfelt like I would have thought and I would rather read THE HOLY BIBLE, which is more interesting.

This is a workbook. It is a good tool for someone learning how to have a quiet time.

Your style of writing and explaining things has really helped me to have a more intimate relationship with God.

Don't make the mistake I did and buy the kindle version. Much of the book is taken up with spaces to record stuff that you obviously can't do on kindle!

I loved everything about the book didn't stop till I finished it.A great book!
