My absolute favorite EDC
This is my absolute favorite EDC. I use the flashlight nightly when I’m walking the dogs. It is absolutely bright enough when it’s dark. It’s not going to be incredibly bright if there is other light around. When it is dark, this thing comes in clutch. I really hope that Victorinox does not discontinue this. It seems as if all of their knives with LED are becoming more difficult to find. I really hope they don’t phase these out. I could not tell you how many times I have been thankful that I had that light on my knife when I drop something taking my dogs for a walk

Extremely handy!
While it is on the heavier side, this swiss army knife has all the features I need. The scissors on the victorinox knives are fantastic and I don’t even own a pair of full sized scissors in my home, I only use these or in a pinch, the scissors on my mini swiss champ (which is my edc). I do not carry the huntsman lite everyday, although for a few months before I found the mini champ I did carry it everyday. Ultimately, it was a little large since I am a girl and usually limited on pocket space in my jeans, it was just a little too bulky. Now I mostly keep it in my kitchen for the scissors, in case I need the can opener or have a wine bottle. It always comes with me on any outdoorsy adventures, hiking/camping/etc. I would like to eventually pair it with the flint stick and tinder since it always goes with us camping and you can never have too many methods to start the campfire. The large phillips head is another one of my favorites on this tool, it has come in handy at unsuspecting times, when I need to tighten a license plate or change out batteries in a device. The one issue I did not think ahead on when it came to purchasing the huntsman lite was it’s durability when it comes to water, due to the flashlight. I have had to rinse it off in a stream from gross fish guts and the flashlight did withstand that, but I have not tried submerging it fully, so that is definitely something to consider if you are between the huntsman and huntsman lite. Additionally, the light is really not very bright at all, I actually started carrying a separate flashlight as well which is much brighter for when I hear a bump in the woods and need to know what animal that just was. I do really like the translucent scales on this though, they are so pretty and add a very unique factor to it that I appreciate. Overall, it’s a swiss army knife from victorinox, you will only get the best quality and durability, this is not sponsored in any way, I received my first swiss army knife when I was 10 and had some fantastic memories with it. They really make quality well thought out tools and I am very glad with this purchase.

Great pocket knife 🔪
I own a few Victorinox SAK's. I got this one to see how adaptable the in line screw driver is. I have al ready-made the 1/4" socket to 1/4" hex bit mod with hot glue for the bottle cap opener. I tried the Gerber bit adapter on the Phillips bit but. 🤔 The bit adapter fit loosely. The cross end turns the adapter perfectly how ever the shaft tapers towards the cross end. If I were to hot glue it, it probably wouldn't come apart. All in all I love my new SAK.

Quality in a slightly large package
For a pocket knife, this is pretty big - width wise. This said, it has everything in it except for a nail file and this honestly is my only gripe, but a minor one at that. The two blade setup is nice and the fact it has a pen is all the better. I use the pen frequently and having one in the knife as an accessory is a major bonus for me. I am never without something to write with and while the pen is very small, it works and I don't have to carry an extra - ever. The flashlight adds a good bit of width to the knife, but it is a very convenient feature. The batteries in mine, thus far, do seem to be an issue and the light is nice and bright. I am hoping this is due to Victorinox seeing reviews and correcting the issue and not some fluke. My prior knife had far fewer tools, but I carried for years. From time to time I encountered situations where some of the tools built into this version would have come in handy, even if just one time. I can see something like the saw never being used, but I like having the option just in case. The bottle opener and cork screw are also nice to have tools, you would be surprised how often they get used even though my thought was always "nice, but I will never need those".If you don't mind the almost 1" width, this is a great tool. If that seems too big, go down a size - the tools you lose won't, in my opinion, be deal breakers.
