Made it worse and clumps of hair falling out
Do not use. I made the mistake of not reading the negative reviews which had the same reaction. My cat’s whole head went red & fur all fallen out the next day and didn’t even help with the scratching because she was still scratching after it. I only washed her head with this shampoo and I’m thankful I didn’t do the rest of her. DO NOT BUY.

Our Springer Spaniel pup became extremely itchy with flaky, smelly skin during the winter, and we couldn’t figure out the cause. Our vet initially recommended Head & Shoulders, but it didn’t help. We then had to use Apoquel for a short time, which gave him some relief, but we knew it wasn’t a good long-term solution. We were even preparing to start immunotherapy when my sister suggested this product. As a last resort, we decided to give it a try—and WOW. It completely eliminated his itching, and the flaky skin is GONE. He’s so much more comfortable and back to his happy self!!

My GSP suffers from itching from environment allergies, having had her on Apoquel in the past, I'm trying not to have to put her on it again, so I tried the "Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Shampoo for Dogs." I shampooed her according to the directions, and once she was dry, her itching seemed to stop! She had hot spots on her tummy, and those have disappeared as well! She was licking her paws raw at times, and that seems to have also stopped! Today is only the 3rd day since her shampoo, so I'm waiting to see how long it lasts, but I am VERY happy to see her relief! I so far, would highly recommend this product for an itchy dog.
