I believe this product does what it is supposed to do.

I have a story. I had used name brand chemical fertilizers and there were times when dry conditions + fertilizer resulted in burnt grass. I then switched to Espoma. My lawn is lumpy in spots and occasionally the spreader tips and extra product dumps out. One day I was in the house and in the distance I saw a black object (wool cap??) on the lawn. I went to investigate and it was not a hat, but a thick tuft of deep deep green grass- this was at a spot where the Espoma dumped out! So I realized and saw very graphically that there really is no maximum dosage of this natural fertilizer- even a literal pile of it did not kill the grass, but conversely supercharged it. That gave me the freedom to apply it very thickly in the areas that needed it- parts of my place are on sandy soil, meaning they need lots of organics added. One bit of caution- when broadcasting Espoma products, which seems to be dried manure, they will create a thick brown fog of powder that gets EVERYWHERE. I am lucky to have access to an outdoor shower after fertilizing- clothes, shoes, face, hair all get coated- can be nasty. But this brand is so good, I continue to use it- lawn, flowers, evergreens, food garden, etc.

Gave 5-stars because no choice for 4.5 and nothings perfect. Have always used a granular corn gluten meal but can't get anymore. Bought 3 bags of this. Have had really wet late Spring/Early Summer (uncharacteristic for OKC area). My Bermuda grass is growing great with dark green color. The smell, when first applied, was off-putting but that went away after a couple of days. Will definitely purchase more for next year.

Well, this is my first real attempt at lawn care, and I thought I would tackle my lawn with this. I suppose it works well but its only been a couple of weeks. Do I see a sudden lush green carpet for my yard? NO, not yet anyway. I trust it is better than the neglect its been use to. So, I'll check back in a month or so.

We have a lot of wildlife in our yard and didn't want to use anything that would make them ill. This booster is safe for animals and birds and does a great job. Our backyard never looked better. It has a rather strong odor though, so we keep leftovers in an outdoor garden shed.

We put this down in our fenced yard because we wanted a product that would be safe around our dogs. They showed some interest in it until we wet it down, then they ignored it. My lawn is growing very well.

My yard has been looking amazing since I spread this out. It even pushed back the lesser celandine that was creeping over from my neighbors yard. I know it works because my spreader broke and I can compare it to the grass with out it. Big difference. So I ordered more and it’s all looking great. It keeps your yard healthy enough to squeeze out weeds

I am so glad I found out about this product. I switched from weed and feed and saw better results than I did in the last couple of years with weed and feed.
