Just like the carob powder my hippie mom bought in the '70s and '80s for my "chocolate" milk.I wasn't able to find it at Fresh Thyme or any brick and mortar store. I mix it with oat milk for a nutritious, tasty and satisfying snack. Great quality!

This Frontier carob powder mixes well, but you have to whisk quickly if putting it in anything hot. The medium roast is very good...not too dark.

Best recipe for carob powder ever? Here you go:1 part carob1 part easy dissolve all natural powdered milk1 part stevia leaf (or extract or powdered extract)Mix together thoroughly and add a scoop to unpasteurized goat or cow milk. Sooooo yum! It can also be used as a hot cocoa or in other kids of milk. Honestly I could drink it all day. No sugar, no chocolate, only the good stuff!

I received the package in bag, everything looked fine. But when I opened the amazon bag, there was powder all over. The carob bag was closed (at least I didn’t see any openings) but the powder was covering everything. I measured the amount and definitely it wasn’t 16 ounces. The carob is delicious and I will give it another chance. Hopefully they will pack it better and I will get the whole thing next time.

Not a bad taste, but it gives me a heartburn plus package came opened and powdery all over my other items.

I’ve been searching for a darker roast carob powder because I like the flavor better than lighter roasts and I finally found one! This one is has a great rich flavor. Definitely recommend for baking.

I am not able to eat chocolate because I get migraines. Carob is a nice substitute. This particular brand has now become my favorite. It makes the best banana - peanut butter "ice cream". I just use rice milk, 1 1/2 frozen bananas, a tlb of peanut or almond butter, and some ice. It is also good with a little added vanilla, coconut, or carob chips. Delicious!
