L’Oréal Paris Feria Permanent Hair Color, 20 Black Leather (Natural Black)

I love this color: Black Leather. I'm 61, and everyone tried to talk me out of dying my gray hair black. But I'm a winter and I thought it would look good. People now say I look 10-15 years younger than before! It's so easy to apply and stains on your skin usually come off in the shower. It has that multi-faceted natural look which I think is the #1 reason you should use Feria. Plus, I have used many others and they run and are just a pain to apply. This one's the winner! I'll share a picture of myself from 6 years ago with gray hair, and a picture of me now with my hair colored with Feria - Black Leather.

I was so nervous about ordering box dye. But this was literally amazing! It comes with all the supplies you need. The conditioner it comes with made my hair so smooth. I loved it. My hair is already dark brown but I dyed it black and it turned out perfectly and it was just what I wanted. I highly recommend this product!

this is going to be a long and in depth review! this product is good if you want to dye your hair black as less as possible and also have it last long. however, do not make the same mistake as me. this is PERMANENT (it says it in the name i know, i skimmed over it) i dyed my hair half black/ half blue in october 2021, then i used 40 vol bleach in january to dye my hair pink, it barely lifted at all. i still haven’t been able to lift it. if you’re indecisive with hair color and don’t want black for 6+ months i suggest you go with another black hair dye. (or, of course, get it done professionally) i regret using this dye so much, it has ruined my pink hair and made it blotchy. (as seen in the photos below) besides that, if you aren’t indecisive and also read the name clearly you should be good! the scent is amazing, and the conditioner lasted me a while (makes your hair sooo soft!!) it definitely bleeds for a while in the shower after using it but not for a ridiculous amount of time, it will definitely stain your bathtub so i recommend using a stainless steel sink to wash it out. (also my hair is super oily in these photos but i didn’t feel like washing it before writing this review lol, and ignore my roots. as i said i’ve had this pink for about a month, & yes. i’ve left my hair blotchy for a month) this is just my personal experience with using this dye! your hair journey may be different from mine and this might be perfect for u!
