Perfect for my needs. I have total knee replacement surgery next month so I'll only need it a short time. Easy to install, inexpensive and like the feature that you can easily remove the raised seat so that you don't tie up one of the house toilets with it. I probably would have gone with another option if my need was permanent, but for a few months need this is just right. Fits my American Standard round bowl toilet perfectly and is very stable.

This is very easy to install and is a great thing to have after back surgery. It is very sturdy and easy to clean!

This seat riser fits a round bowl shape perfectly, but not my elongated bowl. One of the screw retainers would not tighten, so I had to reuse one from another seat. I wish the seat felt more secure, but that is because it’s being used along with safety rails. The back of the rails is between the toilet tank and the raised original seat, which tends to push the riser seat forward slightly. The black rubber anti-slip strips are not secured permanently to the underside of the riser, and fall off. Other than that, the riser looks nice and is easy to keep clean.

This is my second Carex Toilet Seat I have purchased. This one is to be used when I visit my son's cabin. I love the fact that the "quick locking" attachment is completely separate from the seat and doesn't need to be used to fit on the toilet. The Carex Toilet Seats are great quality and hold up for a long time. The first one I got has been used daily for four years. It's important to know the height of your toilet and get a riser to fit your needs, not making it too tall or too short.

The locking plate did not line up to the toilet seat screws. It’s too wide. I have a Koehler toilet, a popular brand. I had to cut the tabs to fit the purchased seat as they were larger than framework.I probably can’t return this since I had to cut them to fit.This seat was needed for my upcoming hip replacement surgery.This purchase was a waste of money. I’m on a tight budget. So, now I’ll have to do without even though the orthopedic surgeon said I should have one.And……it came without a prime box. So all the nosey people in my apartment building know I ordered something that should be private.I’m extremely disappointed!!

Wish I had gotten this earlier. As easy to install and as stable as I hoped (I am 80, arthritic and weigh 270). Can't close the lid without removing the riser, but it's easy to take off and put back on. Also solves the problem of older men whose scrotum hangs low enough to touch the normal water level in many toilets. If I didn't have a study hamper and bathroom vanity counter at the right height for arm leverage, I would get a riser with built-in arms/rails.

They say it is a universal fit but the piece you slide between the 2 lid screws was way too wide and did not fit. Very disappointed.
