Whose Hands Are These?: A Community Helper Guessing Book Hardcover – Picture Book, January 1, 2016

This book is absolutely Perfect for my community helpers theme I'm doing for the children! It's nicely Illustrated and gives the children the fun of guessing the occupation by what the hands are doing on one page and then revealing those community helpers on the next page. There are eleven Occupations discussed and more information on each one at the back of the book. This book and the books Whose Hat is This?, Whose Vehicle is This?, and Whose Tools are These? make a good set of books to use when teaching Community Helpers. Children love clues and guessing games.

Love finding books that both my class and my 4 year old love! This has whole series has been great for my community helper unit in my Pre-K classroom. Children love guessing whose tool, hand or hat goes to what job and then learning more about each job.

Kids really like it. I’m not going to lie when I first got it I was surprised with the different professions they chose to focus on. I thought it may be too difficult for the kids to understand, but they loved it. They love the riddle aspect to the book (even if it’s tricky for the 3 year olds to answer on their own) and the vocab is great for them! And the reason I know they love it is they continually ask me to read it to them!

Love this interactive book for kids about community helpers. Would work great for the classroom or home.

This book was one of my favourites. The pictures were beautiful illustrated. I was so happy when this book arrived. Teaching my children about community helpers, this book was ama omg & did the job well. Being a Kindergarten teacher, it’s hard to find basic/simple books for my 4-5 year olds. Straight to the point descriptions and pictures. Very happy.

I loved Whose Hands Are These?: A Community Helper Guessing Book. The book proved to be engaging, thoughtful, insightful, and fun to read. The children in my classroom enjoyed the riddles on each page. The book is a gem to have in the classroom. The book arrived in perfect condition.

Questions and fun on each page as the reader learns about the different jobs your hands can perform. It's a book to grab the kids attention and imagination.
