Not essential but nearly
Excellent well made piece of kit. Works well on my record grinder as wellAs some of my tools had been ground to non standard angles does take time for the correct bevel to be obtained. However once this time has been invested very quick every time after to get a razor edge

Expensive and parts missing
Tormek jigs are very good quality, although a bit expensive. One star is harsh, but it reflects my disappointment having waited a while to receive it, only to find that there were parts missing when it arrived. It was very poorly packed, so it’s no wonder parts fell out and were lost. So, now it’s on its way back to Germany.
