Great Travel Toddler Bed
This has been a perfect travel bed for our toddler! We had a month long stay at the grandparents house and it didn't need to be reinflated at all! It is a little tricky to fold up small enough to fit back into the carry case, but isn't that the deal with every inflatable bed ever? Toddler loves it, easy setup, total win. It DOES fit inside a SlumberPod (so you don't have to buy their specific bed as well) which was an unexpected bonus!

The Shrunks products are worth the extra $!
We have ten grandchildren and a few years ago were looking for a product that we could use when they all come to visit at the same time. I am so glad we purchased this toddler bed from The Shrunks. It inflates and deflates quickly, it is well made and has held up to years of use. I was so pleased with this product that I just purchased the less expensive one and am equally pleased. I have added a photo which shows the two "The Shrunks" products next to the Intex toddler bed on the right. Both The Shrunks beds may look smaller than the one on the right but they have worked for our grandchildren through age 8. Providing a snuggly place to curl up at the foot of Mom and Dad's bed. If you are looking for something that will last as long as your kids/grandkids are age 8, choose this travel toddler bed by "The Shrunks"! I wish I had room for the twin size version!

So many options
I LOVE this bed. We purchased this when my daughter was a year old for travel to visit family. We did bed sharing, and then co sleeping, so she's never been in a completely enclosed bed space (3 sides at most). If we put this so the head of it was up against a wall, it did just what we needed it to (since she scoots herself up at night until her head touches the wall or crib side). We have used this for traveling as a family, for when she goes on an overnight to her grandparents, camping, and even as an option on our bedroom floor while we were transitioning her into her bedroom because it was so easy to inflate, or just have already inflated and standing upright in the event she needed to come into our room in the middle of the night. When you deflate it there are little black flaps on the inside that sometimes you may need to push in so that the air can come out, otherwise it will take forever to deflate, as someone complained about. I would recommend the cover to go with it if the mattress will be near a bed frame as there is a risk of it snagging or puncturing. We go a very very small tear when she was staying with the grandparents, and as a note, the patches this bed comes with are crap. But, we were able to fix it with an air mattress patch purchased from walmart. We HAD to put the cover over it after that, otherwise my daughter would just want to figit with a green patch on a clear bed all night.I LOVE that we can use her crib sheet son it, so she gets to use her own bedding. And a twin size sheet or blanket can be tucked around the whole thing and under it so it stays put if you need your blanket to not move at night. Even with her pillow now, there's plenty of room. As long as you roll it to deflate it, unroll it, and then fold it in 3rds and roll it back up tightly, it fits into the drawstring bag along with the pump. We just leave the fitted sheet right on the mattress, even deflated.Long and short of it, if you travel a lot, your kid does overnights at someone elses house without a designated bed (and will roll off a regular air mattress), or need a solution for a kid to sleep in your room in the middle of the night (while also trying to break them of sleeping in your bed) this is a great solution. It takes up far less room in the car than a pack and play, and with the air pump takes probably the same or less time than a pack and play to set up. As a bonus, you could even use this for a non rolling infant as you can adjust the firmness to keep it form being a suffocation hazard.

So far we like it
We just received this product today so I'll try to update down the road after we use it for vacation.I bought this for our 3 year old son. He's use to sleeping in a "big boy bed" (twin size bed). He's way too big for a pack & play at this point (40lbs, 40"tall). Here's a few things I've noticed so far:1) It inflates easily. I tested the nozzles for the pump (comes with an electric pump) and found the short, wide nozzle filled it the fastest. Inflate the inner chamber 1st, then the outer/bottom chamber.2) The side bumpers aren't very high. I'm not sure if they'll keep him in the bed or not, but I'm hoping he'll touch them and his body will know not to go any further.3) I'm not sure if it will truly fit a twin fitted sheet snugly. I didn't have a chance to try one yet but I know the measurements are different. A twin fitted typically measures 39"x75". The Shrunks inner mattress measures 35"x70". I'm sure it will fit, just don't expect it to be as snug as on an actual twin mattress.4) Despite what many reviews I read state, the bed, when deflated, does fit in the carry case. For one thing, it was packed in the carry case when it arrived. Pay attention to how it unrolls/unfolds so that you can repeat the process. Not that it's hard, you simply fold in 1/2 long ways, fold in 1/2 again long ways and roll up tight. I was able to do this and have plenty of room to put the electric pump in the bag as well (in it's bubble wrap bag).My son really likes it so far and wasn't happy when I deflated it. I told him we could try it out at night another day before we go to the beach and that made him happy. All in all, as of today, I'm happy with the purchase. I only did 4 stars because it's just the 1st day so it hasn't been through a major test yet. Again, hoping to update after we use it a little longer.Update: I emailed the company yesterday after writing this review. I asked about the sheet and if they could direct me somewhere that would sell sheets that fit the size of the inner air mattress (35"x70"). This is the email I received from them today:"Thanks for your email.Even though there is a slight size discrepancy as you mentioned, any twin size sheet will fit well on our Twin Size beds. The inner twin size mattress allows you to tuck in the sheets until it is snug. Which is why a loose flat sheet works as well - you can keep tucking in the sheet so it slides below the inner mattress and it will stay in place properly.Best,Perry"UPDATE 7/30/13:A week before we left for vacation, the bed rail on my sons bed broke. He's an active sleeper so I didn't want him falling out of bed before we could get a replacement rail. Instead, I decided to use this inflatable bed. He was super excited when I told him I was going to set it up for bedtime. He slept in it for a week, no complaints! Slept just like it was his normal bed, no waking up in the night or anything. I packed it up before we left for vacation and he used it for another week there. There was no loss of air, and no complaints from him. It packed easily into one of the luggage bags. In the bag I packed 2 airbeds, sheets, 3 hospital grade pee pads (literally from a pediatric wing of a hospital), diapers, wipes and swim diapers. As for the sheets, yes, you can put a twin sheet on, but don't expect a fitted sheet to FIT the inner mattress, you have to tuck it in. I used the spare sheet set we have and it worked fine for both weeks that it was used.Hope that helps!
