I purchased this oil to create customized facial oil for friends and family as Christmas gifts - although I will certainly have to make a bottle for myself as well (I have included a recipe below). I recently read an article about the benefits of carrot seed oil for dry, mature skin and thought I would give this a go since my friends and I aren't getting any younger. The ingredients state it has carrot seed extract, jojoba oil, and tocopherols (Vitamin E) - all good for the skin. I did read that you only need a couple of drops as this stuff is pretty potent - so a great value as I can make several bottles of facial oil from this. I did not notice Canola oil in the active ingredients of my product. Dry Skin Facial Oil 2 tbsp Argan Oil - I also used Avocado oil as both are great base oils for dry, aging skin 1 tbsp Emu Oil - also known to be good for dry, aging skin as it is protective and nourishing 2 drops Carrot Seed Oil 1 tsp Hyaluronic acid I mix all of these in a sterile container and transfer into a dark dropper bottle. I do recommend this product as I have found it to be very beneficial to my skin and have not noticed breakouts (typical with placing a canola oil on your face).

I use this oil as the last skincare of the evening, to top off and seal it all my other topicals. It is so moisturizing and seems to refine my skin, probably because of the natural vitamin A. It even smells like carrots! It's so much more affordable than those fancy skin oils that are being sold and without any artifical sensitizing ingredients. Highly recommend.

Feels good on the skin.

This incredible and light carrot oil comes in a glass bottle with the dropper so it is very convenient and hassle free to use on a daily basis. Now the best part that this carrot oil can be applied directly to the skin in its pure form! I use it as a main component in my facial masks and I also like to spread 1-2 drops of carrot oil through my hair. It has very refreshing carrot scent, it gives elasticity to my skin and softness to the hair. I mostly like to use carrot oil as a facial serum. It has a broader and deeper impact, purifying and moisturizing dry skin and preventing the occurrence of wrinkles. With this simple natural skincare it just seems unreasonable to me to waste all these money on expensive creams since the effect of carrot oil on my skin is greater and the risk of skin irritation is much less.
