The wood is sturdy but the string around it falls off very easy we had to rewrap in melt and glue but my son loves them and they're super lightweight and there's not a sharp edge on them.

Looked just like we expected a wooden axe to look. Unfortunately, one of the axe broke upon impact with a tree! Good for epoxy!!. One got painted, thank you, we love the axe.

These are super cute and very sturdy. My son was very happy to get them. Definitely a good deal!

Bwhahahaa, the jokes on me. I was hoping that these were of adult size style hatchets but these are only about 12” long. Only for Childs playtime! Not a cosplay item nor accessory unless it’s for your child’s costume.

So great to find a play weapon not made of plastic! These are heavy enough for my 10 year old to feel serious about them but not so heavy as to be unwieldly. The raw wood is perfect for decorating with paint or markers if you wish. The cord that makes up the handle grips unraveled but was fixed by rewrapping and using a touch of glue.

Just opened the package and it broke instantly. My son just barely tapped the tree with his axe and it fell apart. Quality is not great. Highly disappointed, and so is my 6 year old.

So these are solid wood and look great. Just don't go chopping a tree...just dangle it from a belt or something like that. My son wacked it once on a bench & the head fell off
