First off, these sound GREAT. I'm a big music guy and I'm totally impressed with the sound quality. The bass isn't incredible but there isn't a sub in this setup so you can't expect that, but it's still there and enough for outside where you'd want more mids and highs anyways.For the negatives. First off, I haven't gotten the solar recharge that was advertised. In the middle of Texas you'd figure there's be enough to not have to plug these in, but every weekend when I come out they're low on juice. I assume they have to get hours and hours of rays before holding a charge and they lose it quick. I guess that's understandable. They're plugged in right now at noon after sun all morning but whatever.Secondly, Bluetooth is definitely a little temperamental. I can't put those things more than 5 feet apart without some cutting out. Again, not a big deal. Also, the volume is weird. On 2 it's low and 3 it's overpowering conversations. Could be my phone but it makes me want to use just one speaker.These are good even with my minor gripes. Main point is that I'm more than satisfied with the sound. The tech part is a little lacking but they're solid and I would recommend anyway.

These far exceeded my expectations. The instructions include how to pair them so that you get stereo sound, and the speakers self-identify which side (left or right) they are set up for. I used these to play spooky music in front of the house on Halloween and was impressed with the sound quality. I've only given it a single trial run so I can't comment on how long the battery lasts after a full day in the sun, but I did have them running for 2-3 hours for the trick-or-treat-ers without any problems. Range is pretty good; I hooked up a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 to them from inside the house and the speakers were a good 20 feet away with no sound glitches.Update May 2017: They survived El Nino (heavy rain for an extended period of time) conditions this winter, and continue to work flawlessly. Very happy with this purchase!

Tried to order just a single of these, but they were backordered, so I I got the pair. They work OK, as long as you are not using a Windows 10 laptop - the Bluetooth with Windows 10 on my laptop is rather strange - it pairs, but won't play audio. Not the fault of the speakers. I was able to use my Windows 10 Lumia Phone which was in a desk drawer unused - and it pairs and plays just fine.They have great audio - although it is a royal pain in the behind to have to go out to each speaker and turn them on every time you want to use them. A Remote Control or "auto" on of some kind would have been great - which is why I dropped a star. I dropped another star because they apparently only work with certain versions of bluetooth software.Battery life is apparently kind of iffy - and having to take them in out of "heavy" rain here in Florida is practically a non-starter - it's very difficult to find a place to put them where they both get the requisite 4-5 hours of sunshine each day, but are somewhat protected from the elements.In the end - they sound stupendous - I'd equate their sound to a Bose radio any day - but they are finicky to pair to each other - the range is far less than advertised, and they won't work with all bluetooth host devices. If you are a tech geek, you'll find a way to get them to work. If you are Joe or Jane Doe who needs your 7 year old to help you set up your computer, you'll find these frustrating.I would buy them again - but I think they are horrendously overpriced for the feature set.

They are great. Had a party and people couldn't believe they were solar as well as how loud they are. Had them since the start of the summer and only charge with the plung once when they were new. I do not leave them in the rain although you can but I want to make sure they last.

Product was defective upon arrival. They did play beautifully at first. However, when they were turned off and then restarted, or paused, the sound quality/volume would go away when started back up. I had to keep opening the back panel where charging station was to release pressure and volume would go back up. Not something I wish to continually do for $200+ speakers. Returned them ought away and not going to try again.

Wow, these speakers are amazing. We'll see how the solar panels hold up, but so far they are great at charging the batteries. After hours of use, I only charge speakers for about 5 minutes and they are full. The sound is incredible as well, and the lyncing and Bluetooth is very easy and works well.

I loved these speakers when I got them. Great concept and the worked well. 10 months later, like others report, they won't charge. They whole point is that you can leave them outside and they charge via the sun! I contacted the company and was told that they have a 90 day warranty. I'm unreasonable for expecting them to work for more than 90 days. I won't be sending them for out of warranty service as they suggested. I'll be buying a different set of outdoor speakers.

On the plus side, these are sturdy and hold their charge. The negative is that the blue tooth cuts in and out which makes me just turn them off after a while (or play just one). It become very irritating especially considering how much the product costs
