Purchased these for grandson. I love getting him any game that’s NOT electronic. I have a set at my house we okay with when he’s here. And he’s 14 years old! Good value. I picked up a reusable plastic container to store them in after they’ve been opened. Packaging is.not reusable

These are pretty low quality which makes for lots of inconsistencies in the individual pieces (some flatter, some pointed at the end, some dull at the end, some with extra plastic from the mold. For the price, they are a good starter set, though I would quickly seek a set that is more balanced and consistent with each individual stick. On the plus side, their flexibility does allow for unique reach opportunities into the pile for picking up by bending the sticks.

I thought they would be longer and thicker more like the wooden ones .

The whole premise of pick up sticks is that you pick up a single stick at a time without moving the others in the pile. They should be perfectly round/cylindrical so you can roll one off and so that the game has challenge to it (because the other sticks can roll if you push too hard). These are cheap, flimsy, flattened sticks. They don't roll. And they were clearly stamped out in a long sheet then broke apart. Every packet (there are 7 small packets with this set) has sticks with sharp plastic connectors that have to be cut/ground off. And even if you make the effort to do this they are unplayable because of their flattened shape. Yes.. it was only $10. $10 spent on a stocking stuffer that now will have to be trashed and the stocking less one toy.

I was hesitant as there’s not tons of reviews regarding these pick up sticks! There’s tons of sticks, there a light plastic material! Comes with paper instructions! Would buy again, definitely gifts Len my daughter loves this lol
