The knife looks awesome, like well over $100 fit and finish awesome
Hi All,I just wanted to post my 2 cents about this product. I'm not big on reviewing things I buy on here but I felt especially motivated to respond to this item and to CRKT in particular. The knife looks awesome, like well over $100 fit and finish awesome. It opens fast. Cuts well and carries discretely.Pros: The look is awesome. The clip design is great once you get used to it. Its a great knife for the workplace if you're not in construction. I'm in IT, I have to cut things but my Griptillian got tons of odd looks. None with this knife. The steel is 12c27 it does pretty well at keeping an edge cutting wires and boxes. It is however easy to sharpen at least for me. And I'm not very good.Cons: Only one really, the knife is a bit difficult to clean... but what knife isn't. All that lint from pocket riding just means I like it alot more than my other knives.Super Pro: CRKT. I ordered this alongside one of their pens. The cap had a washer fall out. I picked some washers up at the store, but low and behold after asking about the size to use CRKT sent me a whole new cap and told me to let them know if I ever needed another. These guys stand behind their product and I dig that.

I just really like this knife
I just really like this knife. The love it or hate it designed appeals to me and the grooved handle effect camouflages the frame lock. Just a beautiful and awesome design, IMO. The flipper and bearing system has this knife flicking open as fast or faster than some of my assisted openers. Its pretty heavy for the blade size (stainless everything) but all the fancy handle work actually makes for a very grippy surface. The clip is OK, especially if you are a leftie, since it is ambidextrous without switching it over. In practice the clip probably isn't the best design but it is edgy and cool and people ooh and ahh and it does hold the knife in your pocket quite well. Fit, finish, blade centering and grind are excellent. The pivot is tight, no wiggle. The blade is a very functional size and shape and the steel holds its edge very well. This knife just brings together so many positive elements that it might be the ideal EDC for office carry. And it just looks expensive and well executed and uber cool while being utterly useful.

Beautiful Knife with a couple minor issue
I really like Ken Onion designs. I have a Leek and like the blade shape and the light weight. The Swindle is a bit different. The blade shape is similar but thicker, longer, and without the recurve in on the blade. I do prefer the blade shape of the Leek but this is a good blade. I like the point but had to take a little off the spine as the end point was a bit rounded. The overall shape does look better than the Leek. It is a more classic look but the all stainless construction gives it a more modern look and feel. It is a bit hefty, as well. I like the clip as the traditional clip on the side gets in the way, and I remove them anyways.I like it being a flipper but it is hard to get off the detent. Loosening the pivot does not help much but does let the blade get a slightly perceptible wobble, The blade was also off center but flipping it for a while has brought it to center. It still takes a lot of effort to get it to start opening. However, that detent does keep it from accidentally opening in your pocket or wherever else you have it. It also goes very smoothly once past that. It also locks in quite solidly but makes a softer click when locking. It looks great. The design looks a lot better in person than on the web site. It feels great, hefty and solid. The blade is a good and practical shape. The point may be fragile compared to other designs but it is quite useful for finer work. The blade steel is really nice. It came sharp. I touched it up on my ceramic rods and it is more than shaving sharp. It is a good deal. The only real issue is the blade being tough to flip. Beyond that, it looks and feels like a high quality device.

I love this knife
I love this knife. I know that a lot of people have concerns with Chinese steel, but I don't think they need to have those concerns here. the steel holds an edge, is plenty hard enough and looks great. I got this knife as a gift, but I'm seriously considering buying one for myself too. It's a "gentleman's flipper," I'd say. It looks elegant. The flipper itself is easy to manipulate. The framelock is very tight and covers a lot of the blade, so I have no concerns about slipping. The modified wharncliffe blade shape is gorgeous. And I love the clip. It's not the typical clip on the flat side, like most knives. It's that little loop you see in the pictures. This means it can work well with dress pant pockets, which is never true of normal clips. The action is very smooth. It's easy to flip open, locks securely and is good, sharp steel. For this money, I don't think you can do a lot better with a gentleman's modern knife.

I usually buy the crappy chinese knives on amazon because they are shiny and cheap. This is my first "nice" knife purchase and Its totally worth it. Compared to the knives I have owned its so smooth to open and close. It takes a stiff push to open but not an extreme amount of force. The liner lock is equally stiff but not extreme. It arrived very sharp but it could be sharper, I dont care personallyVery comfortable in hand, the finish is especially pleasing to touch. The integrated pocket clip is a nice touch. Much better than the normal ones where its just screwed onto the side.I'm very much a novice in the knife collecting world, but this is the best one I have ever owned. I will update my review as I use it and add durability updates as necessary
