Ethique Eco-Friendly Conditioner Bar for Normal-Dry Hair, Guardian 2.12 oz

This is the review I wrote for the frizz ease shampoo bar: "I was so excited to try this shampoo after reading the reviews and doing loads of research. I was worried that it was too good to be true, but it is indeed as good, if not better than everyone says. I got the frizz ease bar and it is amazing. My hair is so much less frizzy in the humid climate, I live 6 blocks from the ocean. I also have noticed significantly less hairloss during my showers and on my hair brushes. I was amazed at that! It lathers so well too. I used more swipes down my hair than some say, I do 3 on top of my head, and then one under around my neck, and 1-2 down the length of my hair. My hair is down to my lower back though so I need a bit more. My husband even started using it and loves it too! He used to use head and shoulders and actually prefers this to manage his dandruff and it doesn't make his scalp itchy after one day without a shower like H&S used to. I can not say enough good things about this shampoo bar. Compostable packaging, no plastic waste, wonderful smells, and amazing results. I am sold for life! I would definitely recommend pairing with the conditioner bar. When I first washed with the shampoo bar it made my hair feel kinda weird, not quite sticky, but as soon as I did the conditioner bar that feeling was completely gone. My hair looks amazing without any product when it dries and I will be continuing to buy this product for the foreseeable future! " With regard to the Normal-Dry Hair, Guardian conditioner bar, I am in love too. It is amazing, smells good, and paired with the shampoo bar has made my hair feel amazingly soft, less frizz, and less hair loss. I don't even use product half the time because it makes my hair so smooth. Just an FYI for those not paying closer attention, the conditioner bar is smaller than the shampoo bar, but it looks like it will last just as long, maybe even longer than my shampoo bar. I do 3 swipes down the top of my head, one under by my neck, and two down the length of my hair (long hair). My husband uses it too and loves the way it makes his hair feel and keeps his scalp from itching. We are in love with these Ethique products!

Great conditioner for my curly hair. This is a repeat purchase and is my favourite solid conditioner bar

Not a fan of block conditioner. I purchased this to reduce liquid size when travelling, I have thick long curly hair and left my hair dry. I now use it on my dog when washing and her coat is very soft and shiny. I will buy conditioner in travel destination next time instead.

This smells amazing and seems to work so much better than any bottled conditioner I have ever used. My fine, straight hair is oily at the roots and dry at the ends… i apply this from mkd-shaft and my ends have never been so happy, but it’s still lightweight enough that my hair has great volume too. I wish it was in stock more often!!

This is for sure a 5* review. I have long (very long) wavy hair. My hair is virgin hair (never dyed in case you aren't familiar with the lingo) and I only have a sprinkle of grey throughout even though I'm definitely old enough for lots of grey. I sleep with my hair wet, and only flat iron bangs (and roots, if needed). Basically, I have very healthy hair. Because eof its length (and how dry the air can be in Canada in winter) I always go for a colour treated or dry/damaged formula because I want the extra weight conditioner. I LIKE soft, wavy hair and I detest wearing hair product. Switching to the shampoo/conditioner bars has been delightful. The shampoo bar makes it easy to target just my roots as I rub the edges of the bar along in stripes on my scalp before massaging in to cleanse. (Shampoo bar was the brown packaging - the defender, maybe? I've never really noticed the aroma much.) The conditioner bar, #1, smells like heaven (coconut/lime smell) and #2 leaves just the right amount of weight on my hair that I no longer have to slick along more leave-in conditioner/ argan oil to weigh it down and prevent fly aways. I started out using a lot more of the conditioner then the recommended number of swipes. I have a lot of thick hair, so for me this was a non-issue. For someone with a more reasonable amount of hair - take it easy! I'm now down to about 4 long passes of my shaft-root of the bar. I'll finger detangle and them let it sit on my hair while I continue my shower. Again 5*, I'm impressed. I'd like it to be more reasonably cost effective to purchase here, but I think I'll be able to find a work around. The same smell is available as a body moisturizer bar and I'd like to get my hands on it!
