No lie, first fish was a 7 lb bass. Didn’t really have to do with the reel but it held up great. Super smooth casting without having to hold the line back if adjusted correctly. I like that the adjustment knob clicks instead of just constantly turning. Color is a nice gloss black. Performs well even casting into the wind. Great reel for the price!

Very clean tidy finish, looks excellent, lovely looking bit of kit and it's as smooth as silk, not only on the retrieve but also in free spool, can't wait to get out and give it a go.

Excellent reel. Very smooth operation with all the features you need in a compact design. Great value in a quality product. Bought two so far, and would buy again. UPDATE: Bought another one now have a total of three.
