I bought this after my pins were falling out of my tomato. This doesn't work too bad and I like that as I'm sewing and removing pins as long as I place the pin close enough to the magnet the pin will land on the dish. It has a really good hold. I feel more secure with it and that my pins aren't going anywhere. I do use something else for my needles.

I LOVE this magnetic pin cushion. How does it keep the pins so neatly aligned? It's better than the product photo: the pins line up so straight and neat. I think this is best with pins with big ball ends so that the pins are easy to grab. This is a great buy. :)

It is so easy to have one of these handy as you are sewing to catch your pins and clips as you pull them off your fabric. I have one for pins and another one for clips. I even use one for my pressure feet when I am swapping several back and forth while working on a project.

The magnetic pin holder is a nice size which included a generous amount of pins. The magnetic's strength is ok; the pin s move around a bit.

I use this for all sizes of pins for sewing. I move it from the machine, to the ironing board, to where I cut. Works perfectly. Didn't need the extra pins, but thanks.
