Made beautiful salsa this year!

My husband and I do quite a lot of canning & like chunky tomatoes for soups & casseroles-this works perfectly! It’s so easy to use, not the easiest to clean but it’s so worth it because of the amount of time it cuts off when canning from a bountiful garden.

This made homemade salsa so much easier! Only dislike is how difficult it is to get all the food out of the seam. I will keep using it several times per year though! Great for canning crushed tomatoes too!

Best salsa yet. Much easier than chopping, although it is a little messy. Clean up is easy, assembly with the sauce master is easy.Tip: roast your tomatoes on the smoker grill before grinding. It'll elevate your salsa.

I have an original Victorio strainer and I use it often. I have wished that the holes in the screen were a little bit bigger because I often wish I had more pulp in the product I'm making. So when I saw this strainer with large holes I thought I would try it. I was worried that it would let tomato seeds through and indeed it does. So it fits perfectly on my machine and works as it is supposed to, but unless you are making a product where you remove all seeds to begin with, like, say apples, it won't make as nice of a product as the original strainer makes. It does remove the tomato skins, but the seeds get through.
