easy to switch tools
I searched for a camping tool that would be a:1. Shovel (to dig latrines)2. Ax (to cut small logs for a fire)3. Saw (to cut brush/branches up to 3 inches in diameter to clear space)4. Hammer (to place tent stakes)I needed it to be compact, easy to switch tools, and light. This product is all but the last. That is, is is not light; however, it makes up for this by being stronger than any similar product I have ever used. I would never go camping without it.

A functional tool
Its a decent quality, functional tool with some minor issues. The ax is sharpened, but in an abbreviated manner, and needs to be sharpened correctly for best function. The saw blade is thin and narrow wiithout any set to the teeth, as such it cuts a very narrow kerf and will jam easily in sappy wood. Only cutting on the draw stroke like a Japanese saw helps mitigate it.The connections rattle and wiggle a little bit, but are firm, and secure. I don't foresee them breaking, wearing out, or becoming too loose for use.The hammer will drive a 16d nail into a 4X4 without issue, but the nail puller cutout is small, and will only work with 8d and smaller nails. Its balanced fairly well for chopping and hammering, but not as well as dedicated tools. The knurling on the handle provides excellent grip. The ax head sometimes gets in the way, and sometimes provides a nice grip when sawing. The shovel is sturdy, has a sharpened edge and works as expected for one its size which falls between a garden trowel, and a military entrenching tool. Adequate for camping needs, and better than nothing in an emergency, but too small for serious digging. The sheath, and ax guard are heavy duty and well made. There's a pocket for the shovel head, the flap has an additional layer of plastic to keep its shape and protect it from wear. the leather tag is a nice touch that gives it some class.I think the price is a bit steep for a low tech tool made in China. I'm sort of disappointed they take credit for designing it when in reality its just a slightly refined, but otherwise exact copy of a Soviet military survival tool as shown in attached pictures.Overall, if one can swallow the price, its an excellent camping and emergency tool that stands head and shoulders above the typical multi use survival tools found on Amazon, and elsewhere.

Stonewash review
I got the stone washed. It's a good quality product. When ax arrived I had sharpened it due to it being pretty dull on arrival. With that the ax head fits, but it is very shaky when I was chopping small logs. Not fully comfortable the pieces will stay together.

decent tool but clanky heavy and very over priced.
decent tool but clanky heavy and very over priced. i would at least expect a pick ax in this kit for that kind of money
