My wife wanted a radio that didn't rely on batteries or mains power due to the recent news reports of power cuts. The sound is amazing considering the size. The ease of use with excellent battery life makes this a must in any household. The radio also has flashing lights and alarm, sos. To power this little gem you simply wind it up or set it in the sun as it has a solar panel or charge through usb port. My wife shows everyone who comes round and is over the moon with it. Great for when camping, battery lasts longer than expected. Occasionally lost signal and needed re tuning but I think that was related to the area we were staying in rather than I fault on the product.

A really handy, solid little radio/light for emergency use. Radio reception is very good and loudspeaker works fine. Not high grade hi-fi but perfectly acceptable. A bonus having the solar charging as well as wind-up. The only reason that I've knocked off one star is that the knobs for tuning and volume may be a little difficult for some people. I had to use both thumbs to turn them. All in all though, I can highly recommend.

Bought for my survival kit in case of outage etc. Really good reception. Great torch and I can boost my mobile phone. Crank handle and solar to power it. It has everything you need. So impressed, I have bought some for my family.

I love it so far, I'm sure it'll come in handy and everything works as it should. Be great in an emergency.

Great little Radio gadget

This radio has good sound and the torch is very bright. The volume is good. If I charge it via the power line I can use it for a couple of day before the power goes. If the sun is out I put it on the window sill to charge it.. It's a very handy thing to have if we ever have power outage. One of the best buys I've had, the wind up handle is easy to use. And it's very useful for charging my phone.

I love gadgets and this one is no exception.. It can be powered by manual winding or by solar, or by USB chargung. So, it is ideal for outdoors eg picnics and camping. It is very easy to use and has 2 frequencies AM/FM. There is quite a good torch included, which is inbuilt. It can be difficult to find specific stations, as reception tends to be hit and miss. But, when you are out and about in the wilderness, without a mobile phone reception, this will still provide you with access to local stations for music, news and entertainment. It is quite sturdy and good value for money. There is a USB-C connection for charging/powering other items, but I have not tested this.
