Hurray For Cressi!!
These are THE BEST goggles ever. Like many Asians - who wear contacts - I was struggling to find a pair that wouldn't make my eyes feel like they were being squeezed out of their sockets (bye bye contacts) but tight enough to keep the water out (low nose bridge being the culprit) so I embarked on a quest to find what works for me. The Cressi Planet Mask came highly recommended by other users with Asian facial features so I thought I should give it a try. It's an absolute delight, fog proof, waterproof, clear vision, not too tight around the head, easily adjustable, and the best part, the suction part extends all the way to the eyebrows and just above the cheekbones. Very happy with this purchase. Love the nice big case that came with it too!

Easier on aging eye area
This is my 6th pair of swim goggles ... all different brands, prices, and types. I swim about an hour 3-4 times a week in a chlorinated pool. Goggles are a must. All the goggles I tried left deep marks in the sagging bags under my mature skin. Although they did not leak, obviously I did not want to do any more damage than aging had caused. I tried several other swim masks and although they did not leave deep marks they leaked and made for a miserable swim session. This swim mask is by far the most expensive one I have purchased; however, it is the one I am happiest with. I have to pull it pretty tight, but it does not leak...the marks left are NOT on the sensitive eye skin area and go away fairly quickly. The one draw back, and although not huge, is while swimming laps, I cannot do a flip and push off at the end of the pool to continue my laps without causing leaking. I swim a slow and zen like breast stroke and do not experience leaking, but the pressure of the flip seems to cause the leaking. I have decided, although I like the momentum the flip gives me while swimming laps it is far better to take care of the skin around my eyes so this is my compromise - no flips. This mask remains clear and does not fog and it has a release on the side of the straps so you can easily remove the tension on the mask to remove. I expect to replace goggles routinely due to the wear and chemicals of the pool. I will purchase this swim mask again.

Not the Ferrari of swim goggles (at least not for my face)
I thought I was purchasing the Ferrari of swim goggles/masks. What a disappointment. I could not get the part of the mask that should seal (skirt? flange?) to the temples to adhere (seemed way too flimsy)! Water kept filling the left eye piece in particular, no matter how tightly I pulled the straps. My face is narrow but not that narrow, so I have no idea what the problem was.

Really great product for me since I swim laps for 45 minutes, and this goggle/mask is so gentle on my face. It doesn't cut into my soft, old eye tissue and doesn't leave ugly rings around my eyes like a raccoon-face. Fits perfect and Cressi is quality. Buy it!

Significant skin marking after use.
Still causes significant skin marking, even though seals well with minimal tightness. The seal edges are a bit to stiff and narrow to avoid making marks.

Worthless goggles
These goggles, which were relatively expensive, (~$42.00) leaked badly from the first minute I used them, and continued to leak badly despite multiple efforts to adjust them.

Within 5 minutes swimming it was clear they were a disappointment, they leaked letting water in around the bottom ...
The first order got lost in the mail, after two weeks I contacted Amazon who immediately re-submitted my order. The goggles arrived the next day. Within 5 minutes swimming it was clear they were a disappointment, they leaked letting water in around the bottom of the goggles. After twenty minutes the pain between my eyes, where the goggles were pinching my face, forced me to abandon them. They now adorn my desk, an expensive desk ornament, n'est pa?
